I Love Met-Art but this is a chick flick with gay under theme. Nap time for me. Pretty-boy men, chiseled from pure marble, beautiful works of living art, but I want to see beautiful WOMEN. I'm not interested in pretty guys, I'd rather watch the news or do my laundry. And when I see Met-Art I do not expect to see fake-titted porn girls with tasteless, garish tatts all over their bodies, just like I could see on any tube site, Toilet Whores website or typical Brazzers clip.

I saw references to Red Shoe Diaries in the posts, I never heard of that movie so I looked it up. I read half a dozen reviews - that was a chick flick through and through. So, how many guys here want to watch a chick flick with a mens' gay under theme? In this trailer a gay man in blue shirt with glasses says to the brunette "Our Jack, he has the most beautiful penis". That does not work for me.

Lighting and filming looked very good, except for the unusual attention to the male actors, I would want more attention on the girls - their body language and faces - pretty much what I saw done with the male actors should have been done with the girls.

Of course I realize we all have different tastes, but this flick is not erotic to me.

In what setting would you say that the product is ideally 'consumed'?

For example, when I get a membership to an erotic photography site (and I've had memberships at some point or another to approx 15-20 of them), I'm not necessarily looking for something that will provide me with the material I need for a quick wank.

While part of the reason for getting the memberships was for the sake of due diligence as an affiliate, I only bought memberships at sites that interested me personally. So, I guess what I'm asking is where does SexArt fit? The trailer is definitely hot. The trailer on the homepage with Malena and Elle and the VW is beautiful from both an artistic and pure hotness standpoint but I tend to view girl-girl more in the erotic photography category than the Big Wet Butts category. IE, something to watch and appreciate. I kind of viewed it as being less edgy than Cafe Glow type stuff but with girl-girl instead of just solo. Definitely a winning combo.

While combining hardcore stuff and erotica seems like a perfect combo, I guess I kind of feel that the presence of a guy detracts from the artistic element, which is kind of my whole reason for liking it in the first place, while at the same time the action is not hardcore enough to fulfill my, uh, masturbatorial needs. lol

It's not really even something I'd consider watching with a girl either. It's just kind of in this weird middle ground.

Now, I'm pretty much basing all of this on two other sites in particular. Maybe you guys will do it right. You definitely picked the two best possible models for the launch, I'll definitely be promoting it, and I'm sure it will convert well. These are just things that I'm personally curious about.

If we all liked the same thing there would only be one model, one photographer and one website. Nonetheless, though many of us like the technical features of the movie, I think most men (the primary consumers) are more interested in regular guys getting lucky with a beautiful woman. But clearly there are many men whose fantasy lies with pretty guys and and pretty women - and, pretty locations too. Witness Playboy and Penthouse. But, I stick with my complaint about fake tits and tatts, very much not met-art.

Andrew Blake and Michael Ninn have been producing artsy hardcore for decades - doubt 5% of today's porn buyers know who they are or their work.

i'm sure affiliates will give it a shot, the market will decide if it's got a place on the web. a very expensive experiment. but Met has the bucks to try big bold experiments.

Based on the VW trailer I actually got the impression that it would be more fashion+erotica rather than art+erotica which I think is great and would definitely fill a gap but I wasn't really into the Kamikaze trailer. I thought it would be more like Cafe Glow. Like this.
