Today was day one of the first ever Adult Entertainment Virtual Convention. It actually reminded me a little of the 2010 Internext in that people seemed a little confused on where to go, but were glad when they finally made it. The show goes on for two more days, and there is plenty on the schedule that would interest an adult webmaster. It is free to register, so check it out. It is probably too cold to go out anyway.

Enter via "Anything Goes" instead of standard. Less people so easier to get around . . but you will see fewer participants.

Luckily, I have a high powered laptop with 16 GB RAM that I am using to get around.

Shit I wish it would connect successfully lol I have no issues running around...zooming...clicking thing... Just keep disconnectong then it wont reconne,t have to shut down client and relaunch... I can run around in main lobby all I want just cant enter theater or hall it disconnect every time

i can run wow have photoshop going, play youtube vids and be updating facebook no probs.

but now all of a sudden i cant even run this basic 3d client? LOl i can do this over and over and over. close client. wait a few mins. launch it, login. enter transport area, pull down explore, choose the convention. enter convention main hall. go to theatre, try enter. crash.,

repeat lol

The keynote starts in an hour. If anyone wants me to take them on a quick tour, via the landmarks I set up, login, add PimpsPromo as a friend, then go to my avatar. It is easier when you have a guide.

We are using Windows 7 and I used it on my XP laptop. It worked, but this only has 3 GB RAM compared to 16 on the Win7, so there was some lag but it worked.

That and the ass biter..

When RLC first launched, my wife and my phone sex company ran the "Working Girls" program. At that time, we were confined to just the Bareback Bordello. We made a decent supplemental income from it, but once they converted to their in-game currency of Rays, it was harder to keep our services from being provided by others (which was part of our agreement with RLC at the time). We eventually pulled out, and after a few months of no "Working" staff, they started their own in-house program that allows any of their users to become "Working" persons.

My name in the game had a "Bordello Pimp" tag above my head. My wife's was "Bordello Madam." It was fun while it lasted. It was just that the in-game currency didn't gel well with our business set-up at the time. I'm always keeping an eye on RLC/Utherverse, and keeping them in mind for things in the future.
