Aren't you Canadian? Why are you so obsessed with the US? Isn't there anything to do up there?

There's credibility for ya.

To all the rabble out there hating their betters because they're successful and you're not......a question.

What have you EVER done to SUCCEED in this world?
What have you done that seperates you from the great unwashed masses?
If you can't answer that, you're exactly where you SHOULD be in the food chain.

It's actually circa 1999 and I fly it because I CAN.

shit.
didn't mean to kill the thread, just add perspective.

raymor 08-18-2011 01:31 PM

The video didn't load for me, but I have noticed it's quite unequal. The suburbs with people who work is mostly Fords and Chevys. All of the Cadillacs are in the subsidized housing projects and owned by the freeloaders.

It's not boingboing moron, it's msnbc and it's an interview with warren buffett (your rabble that hates his betters) and a report on an actual study on class separation.

What's pathetic is your attempt to scale others success with your own trash version of it. What's funny is your attempt to separate yourself from the masses when the fact is you're not going down in history as anything, not even a scribble. What's sad is your inability to see MOST people are trying and many have had success, but today simply can't get anything to work but bad luck.

I'll let you get back to you pretending to be bill gates and buffett type life style, with your mountains of success and all.

Sad though... sad that it doesn't have to be this way or this bad, sad that Americas would rather let others starve in the streets, because they don't think they're trying hard enough... this is what our country has become, yuk.

woj 08-18-2011 02:00 PM

so one just needs to figure out how to be in the top 20% (not THAT hard) and all is good :thumbsup

You think without the government these people would starve in the streets? I agree, this is what our country has become YUK.

Who wants to believe the US is as unequal as China or African dictatorships? The super rich better wake up. The super rich in late 18th century France and early 20th century Russia didn't want to stop their greedy ways. How'd that work out for them? Eventually the much larger bottom 90% says "enough is enough".

Fact is 70% of our economy is consumer spending. Now give 1000 guys $1 billion each or 200 million people $5,000 each. Now this is the SAME amount of money. Which one would have a better effect on the economy? It's obvious the 2nd one would.

Wizzo 08-18-2011 03:20 PM

Economic inequality is only bad if your on the wrong side of it...:pimp

Economic inequality in America: how bad is it?

I prefer this question: high taxes, red tape, and big government in America: how bad is it?

You must factor inflation into your "obvious" answer...:winkwink:

Well, being that we have some of the lowest taxes in history, very few industries are actually filled with red tape in areas that don't actually need it, and the gov has been far larger in various ways... so it's not as bad as it has been.

If anything, a true capitalist would help such a child. The Gates Foundation is one such entity that has contributed alot in Africa.

The starving children are a result of corrupt governments. Socialism is a form of corruption. The African variety puts lawless warloads in charge. The American variety tries to force some people to pay for other people's health care --and kills jobs with high taxes --causing poverty.

Corrupt governments can make people miserable (US) or they can outright kill (Africa).

Top heavy governments where the ruling class get all the benefits and the people get little.. are characteristic of many socialist countries.

You seem to get saddened quite easily. You were very sad last time you went through a posting frenzy. Is there a connection? I'm never sad when I read GFY. Most of the time I smile and occasionally even laugh at some of the naiveté posted here.

Chin up trooper...better times are coming.

That is classic. So I have to imagine all the trolling is an attempt to be pimpdog from the north.

Here's a tip BFT...it's not working. If you want to be Pimpdog and build your program you need to really crank up the meaness. Posting all the pictures you do only makes you look silly.

Mostly only capitalist nations ran the slave trade but of course no children were
harmed....right?

Someone must feel pity on those that are so sickened with greed and the self, that it warps the view of reality around them to a point where the lies they believe, is the reality they experience.

taxes are NOT high in America. Taxes have not been this low on the super rich since 1958. Please use FACTS before posting. I bet you love 12clicks fucking you in the ass, while The Demon has you suck his cock.
