TubeX jmbsoft MIA?
 

Anyone know why Jeremy from jmbsoft isnt answering support emails etc?

apparently he retired right after I spent $500 on his scripts and they are unusable for me without his customization (which he was about to charge me another 200 for), but stopped replying to emails.

Damn looks like last time he replied was about a month ago. He never does that, he's been extremely reliable over the years...

He wrote a post about this... But as I remember, he would still do customization etc. Maybe I am wrong.

It's a good script, I hope he offers to open it up so we can self maintain it.

He should sell the code and the customer base. There is value there.

A client of mine sent me this, apparently was posted on the jmb forum or something

If some hacker finds a bug and fuck up your site and the source of the script is closed so you cant fix it yourself, is it still a good script? :upsidedow

I still have a few sites with his TGP scripts. Sucks that he didn't pass the company on or sell it. To just up and walk away like that is crazy.

TGPX is not encoded... Been a while since I have looked at TubeX.. They did cut prices quite a bit as well now and users are giving support to other users when they can on the old support forum.. I wouldn't hesitate to buy any of the products still, especially if you have worked with them before.

Hmmm... I tried some of the example sites with TubeX on my android phone, I cant play the flash-videos. I only see a blue box with a "?" on. Why's that? Is there any way to get it to work with mobiles?

That's a shame, he was one of the only script developers that has been around so long. I've seen countless scripts released by this guy or that company and almost all leave after a short time, but JBM stuck around a long time.

Yeah, fucking shame.

The script still needs a few features...
