Has anyone actually used "The Door Test" on a date with a girl?
 

I've done this a few times on dates, from about the age of 16 and onward. Probably doesn't apply to those with automatic locks but it's surprisingly accurate lol. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh If you don't know what I'm talking about, check out the video below. It's a clip from A Bronx Tale

i love that movie...and that is a good test for sure...but all cars now are automatic locks

I totally used this test when I got my first pickup truck - manual locks. I definately noticed when girls would reach across and open the lock. Saved me lots of money not wasted on selfish broads!

Only later did I see this movie and was like "yeah yeah I did that!!"

Automatic locks spoiled everything.

I can't see that working anymore since most cars are automatic locks now. Would be a good test though!

The better test is when she is in the car you lock all the doors and see how she reacts.

This wouldnt work. My car doesnt even have the option to be opened by a key...... whole car unlocks when first door is opened :(

"The Door Test" is a must... Also this is one of my Favorite movies.

i couldn't care less if they fail the "door test" as long as they pass the back door exam.

These girls must not be that great of "keepers" since you all have run the test multiple times. ;-)

There was some weird test in the movie Singles too, like a sneeze test and if the guy didn't say Bless You or something he was worthless.

I knew a programmer that was always trying to find the ultimate question to ask a girl to determine her personality. Like if you could map out a flow chart of the way people think and feel about things, and you pictured that as a pyramid, he was looking for the question that would be at the top. The thing about people though is that they aren't always consistent. You can ask someone a question 2 different ways and get two different answers.

I guess the door test or any test is kind of like that too. I get what it's supposed to say about someone, but what if the girl or guy is too busy talking to notice the doors are locked or they are having a spaced out moment, seems silly to me to look for a tell like that. Doesn't always indicate selfishness.

Used it many times, still works on jeep wrangler as they do not have automatic locks. I have a serious chick just sayin.. .
