I was 20 in 1984 and depending on the time of year, I was having my first baby and getting married... if it was the first half of the year, if it was the second half, I was taking care of a new baby and working at a Nursing Home.

My husband and I had lived together for a full year, and weren't planning marriage anytime, if ever, but so much pressure from everyone, we got married a month before the baby was born. That was 27 years ago and I am still with him, so I guess it worked out ok. lol

Tam 05-01-2011 08:16 AM

I would have been 12, and no, I do not remember the video.

However, I was never a big fan of break dancing to begin with.

1984 was a great year for me. I was 14 years old and was having the time of my life. I remember, the year 1984 was the year when I first purchased a METALLICA cassette and it was also the year when I bought my first SLAYER cassette. I've been hooked on Thrash and Death Metal ever since. Old school and long term fan here! Those are some great memories.

1984 was also the year when I first watched Ron Jeremy in Caught From Behind. It was also the year when I first asked a girl to go out with me. Yeah, alot of things happened for me in 1984...all good things and things that I will always remember forever. What a great year.

hmmm, 84. Let's see. My son was born in April. So, I was a father of two, a homeowner, had a Dodge Caravan, a 1949 H-D Panhead and had 13 years in at GTE. I never saw that video and would have tossed a wrench through the TV if someone put that on.

Nasty 05-01-2011 11:05 AM

I was 29, my first son was born and I was praying I would never catch him trying to dance like that

18teens 05-01-2011 11:13 AM
