It's a tug-of-war sort of game that we like to play.

Someone will post "links pulled"

and another someone will post "links pushed"

You must have not seen the pushed posts.

It's something that when people ask what it means we know they are not in the industry and can be safely ignored.

Honestly, it means the same as "stop pulling my dick". So when someone says, "Hey, this website will make you millions of dollars!", you say, "links pulled". Like quit fucking with me or quit pulling my dick. Make sense now? The next time someone approaches you with a great deal that sounds too good to be true, you simply reply with, "links pulled!".

It means "I'll take my 17 uniques a day elsewhere bitch!"

The internet is a series of tubes. These tubes are "linked" together. By pulling the links you're making more room for bandwidth.

So when you tell a webmaster "links pulled" it means your site is ready for more hits from them.

having lunch today with family friends, some woman we know was running an interior design company and she got called up by someone who wanted her to remove a link from her blog to their site. After the call she was saying she didnt know what it meant and my 12 yr old son said "LINKS PULLED" LOL
I told him to be more polite and said it wasnt nice to shout things out at grownups , he then said "HATERS GOT HATE DAD" I got mildy miffed while the wife laughed and my daughter (11) said she was going to call the whambulance.
