I am so sick, and tired. I discovered my H's interest in porn in 2002, but have handled everything poorly (gotten mad, etc.) My gut tells me he still views, but he says he doesn't. Every week I "blip"...and we butt heads on whether or not he still views...his last admitted time was November on bus. trip. I won't bore you with the details on why I think he still views. Suffice to say I am sick, sick, sick that we can't resolve this, that he doesn't take my hand and either help ME get through this, or admit HE has a problem and get help. He told me I have a "self esteem problem". No, I think I have a problem with being 'lied' too, instead. How could this person who says he loves me, lie and put me through such hell?

I am looking for a couples counselor in the Seattle area... :(

What a bunch of losers!. (that no porn board) My girlfriend has a friend that found out here boyfriend was surfing porn, and she raised holy hell. She found out we are taking on an Adult client and was just sick. What is the issue with these people. I can understand if the viewer won't have sex with their partner because of porn, but I would be willing to bet that most these moaners (trigger word!) are just plain frigid and can't accept the fact that they may be the root cause.

It isn't wrong for people to view porn. However, being dishonest with your significant other isn't okay. So, while I am sure these women are grossly over-reacting, some of that they are upset about may still be valid.

January, I felt the same way in my marriage. My gut feeling and his constant lying was causing so many emotions. It is so much better when you can make choices based on his choices and truth. I installed spyware, Spector Pro, on our computer in the stealth mode. Even if he erases all tracks, everything will be saved in the spyware. You don't have to check it daily. You can check every keystroke, website, e-mail, all his passwords, on the net, viewing off net, chat, etc. My therapist told me the same and actually TOLD me to install this. That DID give me the needed knowledge to make my own choices. I monitered that for 6 weeks before I told him and of course, he went nuts. It did NOT make any difference to me how he felt. He didn't care about me when he was making his choices. I am not sure that I will stay in this marriage. He chooses to make excuses more than he chooses to enter recovery. I might love him but I think more of myself than spend a lifetime with him and miss out on the loving and intimate relationship of a normal guy
