Who washes the dishes at your house?
The gf/wife? the dishwasher? you? your mommy?
Me and my gf always used to fight who does the dishes, but we finally got a fucking dishwasher, we are wondering why we didn't do it earlier.... |
The maid or my Mother in law.

I cant afford dishes...

Whats this dish washing you are speaking about.
People still live without dishwashers? Do you do your laundry by hand on a washboard too?
Usually the wife as I do all the cooking.
I usually load the dishwasher and he unloads it. If we have dishes that have to be handwashed, we take turns. Usually whoever didn't cook gets to do the cleanup and dishes.

I stick ours in the dishwasher. |
I'd rather wash the dishes than rinse, load and unload the dishwasher.
That said, we tag team 'em and the dishwasher does a big chunk of the work. |
I do them by hand and dont use the dishwasher. Saves me a few pennies in electricity, plus burns a few extra calories I guess. Be different if I didnt live alone.
maid in my house, also at my parents house.
I let the dogs lick em clean. hence i use paper plates while everyone else uses the dog washed ones
I usually wash my own by hand, but my girlfriend does the rest with our dish washer.
But a long time ago when I lived with room mates. 3 single guys. One was my brother and the other one is still my best friend of 19 years. We lived together for 7 years with the messy dish issue at the beginning but got resolved really quick. This was the rule: If any dish or pots and pans were not washed an hour after the were used, all dishes including pots and pans would end up in the users bed. This seemed to work very well. Cant tell you how many times i came home with a girl and we jumped into my bed in the dark, to discover that all of the pots, pans and dishes i used, with the water still in them, in my bad and all over me and my date. Was so pissed, but now when we talk about it, it makes for great comedy.:2 cents: |

But, I still do my own by hand. |
I wash the dishes if I am alone or if someone else cooks me dinner. If I cook the GF does the dishes. I don't mind dishes but I hate doing laundry. UGH!
Wife hasn't worked in nearly a year. She does it.
my wife does the dirty job
most times it's me who cooks AND does the dishes, The wife can't be bothered most times I guess lol

Paper Plates = Winning :)
you guys are not winning
i don't even know where the dishes are kept almost the truth |
Nothing more sexy than a woman bending over cleaning a toilet or washing dishes while wearing pink latex gloves. Springs me every time:thumbsup
hand is easier if its just you in the house.. but if you have people over a dishwasher is the way to go...
We use the dishwasher believe it or not we load this puppy up every day and we actually save money on utils. I highly recommend this to all the tight asses on this board.

Pit bull gets the chunks, then it's in the dishwasher
We take turns even though I do all the cooking
i just give the dog them.
she licks them clean. job done. |
the dishwasher does my dishes. I load and unload it tho :)
That's a really good question, I'll try and figure that one out.
I just thought every meal came with a clean plate |
Dishes are like laundry. Just throw out the dirty and buy new.
I used to, but not any more. Now it's either the mother-in-law or sister-in-law. They get free living here, so I figure they can help keep the house clean. Call it rent payment.
