Japan nuclear crisis on same level as Chernobyl
TOKYO ? Japan raised the severity level of the crisis at its crippled nuclear plant Tuesday to rank it on par with the 1986 Chernobyl disaster, citing cumulative radiation leaks that have contaminated the air, tap water, vegetables and seawater. Japanese nuclear regulators said the rating was being raised from 5 to 7 ? the highest level on an international scale overseen by the International Atomic Energy Agency ? after new assessments of radiation leaks from the Fukushima Dai-ichi plant since it was disabled by the March 11 tsunami. The new ranking signifies a "major accident" that includes widespread effects on the environment and health, according to the Vienna-based IAEA. LINK I told you this shit would reach Chernobyl levels or beyond before it was over. Who's laughing now. :2 cents: |
Thank you for your daily Japan nuclear update. It adds much value to the board.
|
dyna mo said it couldn't happen. may want to recheck your sources.

if they're admitting chernobyl levels now i guarantee you its worse than that.
Brilliant Idea: Build a nuclear power plant on the coast in the deadliest part of the ring of fire on the pacific plate, the largest and fastest moving plate on the planet. |

lolz, i simply posted real time facts and thoughts on them based on what people much smarter than me had to say on the issue.

amp, i find it more than hypocritical that you point your finger at me all the while saying i told you so about a nuclear meltdown 10,000 miles away. |
I had to stop eating sushi because of the damn radiation!

it isnt really a funny thing, however there isnt a damn thing any of us can do
except outlaw nuclear power companies we could outfit every single large power stand, you know the big towers that carry the lines everywhere....they could all be outfitted with a revolving center piece to capture wind power. at the sametime, we could setup 1000 more water wheels in each province. tidal power centers could be setup outside coastal areas. etc etc etc that would not only minimize risk, but bring more wealth to more people then just sitting with a few nuke owners |

The poor Japs are fucked. Here is a pretty interesting video of the town around the plant. Eerie pretty much. Worth the watch.

It is unfortunate that the Japan nuclear crisis is on same level as Chernobyl. The leaks must be stopped.

You even to some degree are most likely thinking people are your "fans". Lets hear more about your fasting. We are all soooooo interested in what you have to say on every subject. |

and i always get a kick outta guys like you that have to bring up my interest in health and wellness in a negative light, like it's some sort of snub or put down. the truly funny part is that it's obvious that by your bringing it up out of the blue, its tripping you out pretty good. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh |

But for some reason you have yourself convinced you're an expert on a variety of subjects. It is blatantly obvious you're a wannabe. |

so yeah, i am a working out wannabe. i aspire to be as good as i can possibly be when i spend time on that. you can couch that negatively if you want, but that says a lot more about you than me eh. |
and if anyone were to look, they'd find i ask a lot of questions around here. photography, politics, working out, etc. hard to position myself as an expert if i'm asking questions on a variety of topics.
