Weekend NFL picks. Who are you taking?

My thoughts:

I don't trust Cutler in this one. I just have a bad feeling. I am going to go with Seattle.

Atlanta all the way, Packers on the road is no good for me.

Steelers. Period.

This Jets / Pats deal is odd. Pats have the 27th total defense in the league, I don't trust that. I think I will take the Jets.

BruceM 01-14-2011 03:06 PM

Yes Cutler is capable of throwing 5 or 6 picks and getting sacked 10 times. I agree with you on the first 3 picks, but I think the Pats will put their best feet forward :winkwink: and beat Rex Ryan and the Jets.

Caligari 01-14-2011 03:09 PM

Packers win in Atlanta, Ravens beat Steelers, Seattle beats Chicago, Jets Beat Patriots

bloggerz 01-14-2011 03:10 PM

Packers +2.5
steelers -3
Jets +9
Bears -10

Supz 01-14-2011 03:18 PM

Chicago is the lock.

For those of you thinking Seattle, what are you basing it on? Seahawks are an indoor team that won at home. Do you think they can score like that on the Bears DFense in the freezing tundra called Soldier Field? What are your thoughts....

Mutt 01-14-2011 03:19 PM

i just want New England to crush the Jets. Ryan's act has gotten old fast.

can't wait to watch both AFC games.

Its a bad pick, I get that. Its just my gut telling me that Cutler will play erratic and they have beaten them. They have a lot of confidence.

DateDoc 01-14-2011 03:47 PM

Seahawks, Packers, Patriots, Ravens.

1. Seahawks are not an indoor team.
2. They beat them at Soldier Field in October.

You beat me to it.

I'd like to say Seattle is going to win, but both teams are completely capable of choking big time.

I care who wins. Seattle on the money :)

+350 baby!

cr4zy1van 01-14-2011 08:31 PM

Bears will win this one

Eric 01-14-2011 08:36 PM

Bears Defense will make up for any Cutler mistakes, which he may make some in his first playoff game ever. Seattle may have won in October, but that was a nice day in Chicago, not a freezing cold day.

I think Atlanta will step up to the plate. They are at home and that will play to their advantage.

Patriots defense is not the solid lock they were in years past, but Brady is playing much better than Manning has of late, and he has many more years of experience in his receiving core.

Steelers and Ravens are going to beat the piss out of each other. This will will come down to the last possession in my mind. I think that Big Ben is able to muster one last run before the Steelers get trucked in the AFC championship game by the Pats.

bushwacker 01-14-2011 08:39 PM

The steelers, and pats will cover. Atlanta and chicago won't. You can thank me on monday.

GAMEFINEST 01-14-2011 08:47 PM

patriots baby..

WebairGerard 01-14-2011 08:48 PM

I can't see the Seahawks winning this game on the road. Hasselback played great last week but he won't get the same chances against Chicago's D. Bears take this one. If Seattle pulls this upset too then I will be rooting for them to go all the way!

Jets/Pats is a tough one as these 2 know each other well and despise each other just as much. I would like to see the Jets pull it out and will be rooting for them but I think the Patriots will find a way.

I am going to go with the Ravens in a tight one over Steelers. They seem really hungry right now and match up well against Pittsburgh.

Aaron Rodgers and the Pack are peaking at the right time will be victorious over Ryan and the Falcons. I just think that the Packers have been playing Playoff type game for a month now and are ready.

Anyway will be fun to watch the games. This week and next are best games of the year.

Seattle

True Dat :pimp

MovieMaster 01-14-2011 11:49 PM

Chicago -
PacKers - Defense has been stepping it up and ATL D is questionable.
Pittsburgh - Mike Wallace , Solid D
Patriots - Team Chemistry on offense is too much for Jets. Jets lack the firepower or at least I would say it hasnt been seen that they can put up stable pts needed to beat a team like patriots.

NETbilling 01-15-2011 12:36 AM

Being a lifelong Dolphin's fan, I hate to say that the Pats can't be beat. They are on fire.

Here are my predictions...

Bears
Pats
Steelers
Atlanta

Should be a great weekend of football.

pradaboy 01-15-2011 07:05 AM

I got...

Ravens ML (flip of the coin pretty much)
Green Bay +1.5 (I like Rodgers, I think Falcons will choke)
Seattle ML (too good not to try)
Pats -8.5 ( I love Brady)
Pats - Jets over 45.5 (this is a no-brainer IMO)

stever 01-15-2011 10:35 AM

packers
patriots
steelers
chicago (the only way sea wins is if cutler throws 5 picks) even 1-2 is okay

webair 01-15-2011 11:13 AM

Packers
JETS (Upset of the YEAR coming)
Steelers
Chicago
