LA Lakers winning again
Two wins short of a .500 record, and the season's not quite half over. Looks to me like they'll make the Playoffs.
|
u cant keep a good laker down.Shaq predicted they would be .500 by the all star break and we are 3 weeks ahead of that projection. It's amazing what a lil defense can do for ya!
|
Shaq's gonna lay the smack down on Webber ..
|
Webber rocked last night !:Graucho
Mavericks 94 Kings 123 :thumbsup |
I wonder what its like to get paid to dribble around a ball
|
I can't wait to see Yao Ming get broken in half on Friday when Shaq shows that bean pole what a true dominant NBA center is!
Lakers are a lock for the playoffs and no matter what seed they get, when its playoff time, the Lakers are at the top of their game. GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup |
Lensman... I'm a huge Lakers fan..
I agree, I think they are finaly coming around. The team is only so good when Kobe is the only man. Shaq takes half the year to get in shape because he fucks off too much in the off season or waits til a week before camp opens to have toe surgery. Either way we have the two best players on the planet surounded by a bunch of scrubs. So if the two stars arent healthy the team sucks. But lately they look like the old Lakers.. I can seem them still getting the 3 or 4 seed. And yes I'm tired of hearing about Ming.. Shaq is going to squash that guy |

Myself being a huge Laker fan. It is nice to see Shaq getting healthy and in shape. Kobe stepping up and the supporting cast starting to step up. Rush hit those 3 3's a few games ago and that we all know was a product of Phil telling him and Walker that they needed to start stepping up. Tomorrow night. The Ming Dynasty and the Shaq Dynasty collide... Will be a hell of a game to watch. I don't think Yao has had enough time in the weight room yet. He will be good, if not great. But you will see an A+ game out of Shaq on Friday that is for sure. Sixnine. Shaq did say that. But even before that. Horry made the claim just after the Xmas loss to the Kings. That they would be at 500 at the end of Feb. Looks like the team is full of seers. Good to see them playing with some fire again that is for sure. Lots of good teams this year though. Not only in the West, but the East has some thing to prove also. Should make for some amazing Playoffs that is for sure. |
I want to see them play some real teams already.....once they beat some strong teams then I'll believe they are going places.
Portland on the other hand is kicking ass! Rasheed Wallace with 38 points last night! :thumbsup |
Kobe has 38 on an off night :)
Yea, but the Lakers playing some weaker teams has helped their confidence again.. Watch out!!!! |
Lakers are screwed when they play the good teams. Kings and Mavericks will put them back in their place.

Asking about the Lakers beating good teams?????
Don't forget that one of the 6 Dallas Mavericks losses was at the hands of the Lakers and in fact it was the second loss of the season that the Lakers handed the Mavs. Oh yeah and they beat the Blazers without Shaq too..... As for you Johnny, I will be happy to put down some bets on the Lakers taking another ring this year. Its gonna happen and all your shit that falls out of your mouth will not phase this TRUE Lakers fan. I laugn in your general direction! :1orglaugh |
Lakers can't beat the 1st or 2nd seeds in the Western conference,it doesnt matter if they make the playoffs or not :2 cents: Knocked out in the first round by the Mavs or Kings, easily
|
Kobe's a fag:thefinger

The past is the past and means nothing to this years games. The kings will destroy them.
|
You guys are all fucking nuts.. The Lakers and exact same team as last year when they beat all those teams you are talking about. Remember in order to be world champs you have to beat the 3 time champs. So until that happens the Lakers are still the best. In the playoffs the Lakers are another team. So until then nobody cant say anything about my boys. :BangBang: ;)
Greg N.. I was at the game.. Wow was that an amazing comeback! |

Damn! I wish I was there to have seen that game. That would have been the shizzznits. |

The Kings should have won last season - that was some BS ref'ing and even a lot of your die hard Lakers fans agree with that. And the Lakers are NOT the same team that won last year. They traded off several key playmakers to lower their salary cap. |

Yeah Greg the Mavs would have a more difficult time than the Kings but they have too much fire power.Nobody can D up on Dirk for the Lakers consistantly anymore,Horry? Rick Fox? pa-lease Shaq isn't what he use to be either,Shawn Bradley is at least playing defense now leading the league in blocked shots.Either way, fuck the lakers... :glugglug |
Thats true. Mav's got worked last night. The kings look way better than everyone else so far this season. I think shaq screwed the lakers by talking all sorts of crap before the season even started. Thats a good rivalry though. That fight earlier this year was awesome and I'm sure it will happen again when they play.

JEEEEEEEEEZ I am surrounded by crazed Laker haters in this office and now its going to their heads! :helpme |
Nocost.. I hate Fisher.. I cant wait til Rush takes his Job... I think George will step up and take Fox's job.. I dont care much for Fox either.. Basically if Shak and Kobe are healthy, add Horry and me and you could play the 1 and 3 and win the Championship.. I agree on Fisher. he sucks!
Paul Sweet.... BS refereeing.. the Kings get more bullshit calls there way then any team in the league.. Them and Utah are the biggest actors thanks to people like Flop king Vlade and the Jazz whinners of Stockton and Hornasick.. lol |
GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
I hate Divac!!!!
The one time replacement to the MAN we all know as Kareem Abdul Jabbar has become one of the biggest jokes in the league with his flopping crap! I am 120 percent glad we traded him away to the Hornets for Kobe Bryant. Now that was a sweet deal! I can't say that I hate Fish tho, he was money the year he came back from injury in time for the playoffs. He was sinking 3's like a mad man. As for Fox, thats a different story... he has become to caught up in the acting scene and his hair do's. |

Alright, alright...I know there's a million Laker's fans out there so we know the love-hate thing exits...very cool. That's what sports are all about, passion and rivalries. I'm not a huge fan of the NBA until the playoff's and I think the NBA does not even come close to the competitive nature of NCAA College Hoops.
Go G-Town and St. John's....Big East baby:thumbsup Oh yeah, :BangBang: Lakers |

I would totally have to agree with you on that. Thats why I love the Lakers in the Playoffs.... they know what's up then. I remember last year they always lost to the bad teams because they really didn't seem to care during the season. But I guess that can't be all bad.... must be saving their stuff for when it counts! THE PLAYOFFS! |

Being from LA you guys should know all about acting.... :Graucho |
you lucky mofo's you could be down here in so. fla. watching the heat:helpme
|
Glad to see so many Lakers fans also think Rick Fox is weak...he is definately one of those players who thinks he is way more then he is.
Horry was good at the 3's last year....they need him to be able to do that again. Was very impressed by Kobe pulling out the 3s though. |
Lakers are the BEST! Don't hate! I was at the dallas game too.
man that was sweet! GOOOOOOOO LAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRSSSSSS!!!!!:t humbsup |
Vladeeee is a fag and I'll kick his 7 foot ass if I ever see him... and then I'll stand over him on the side walk and then jump back *flop* about 35 feet into the middle of the street and get hit by a car and then sue his ass. while taking my two free throws of course :P
|
On Horry,
I heard there are trade rumors about Horry. That would be very bad.... he is the man that allowed the Lakers to continue on in the playoffs last year with one of the biggest clutch shots I have seen in my life. Also he is a great player to have in the locker room as well. If they trade anyone I would say Fox must go. |
