Has anyone received any high-end presents from affiliate programs? Or is it just Shap?

I remember the old days, getting sent all kinds of goodies from affiliate programs at this time of year. A lot of programs sent all kinds of high-end shit.

I think those days may be over. I feel lucky to get a Christmas card anymore from the programs I promote.

i miss getting the lobsters. mainstream real estate sponsor sent a 55 inch led tv, blu ray player and 7.1 surround sound package.

Yeah it use to be nice to get random gifts every year from programs. I have not received anything at all this year and I push hundreds of programs.

I've never gotten anything to big, just some promo shirts, cups and a card, which is always nice.

I really miss the great presents from Google. Three or so years ago someone stole my mini fridge :mad:

All affiliates in Holland got free drinks from 19:00 - 4:00 and topless waitresses + stripshows. It was much better than a christmas card or porn dvd!

I have not received anything in the last 2 years. But I dont really expect to. I still make an ass load of sales with a few programs but they dont send Xmas stuff I guess.

from 2001 - 2005 it was presents galore in my offices. now, very few people send out gifts.

Every check that gets cash or wire that goes into the account is a gift these days

Same here, I receive 2-3 x-mas cards and that's It. Last actual real gift I think was 2007

On the other hand getting paid the money earned is like a gift now day's LOL

i never ever received anything, but i don't miss it really, even if there's a program I made over 100k in 2010. On time payments, kind help and good partnership is the most important for me.

The Dutch programms are the best. We also have the tradition for a 'nieuwjaars borrel". (new years toast). I see this one will be at internext, Sunday January 9th Las Vegas organized by GFY and the Freeones crew. Nothing to complain about. Proost!

But in Holland a few programs don't send christmas cards, they send them by mail. The money they saved is used for wellfare. Like for the Tsunami victims and other good things. I think that is a better idea than sending christmas cards. But when they want to sent a 3d projecter, i don't want them to sent it to poor people. That would be a present that i want to keep myself.

I received a box of chocolates once. Really.

I got 2 boxes of chocolates, a gift basket of sam adams and a box of brownies.

I've got a nice budget this year for gifts to our top affiliates and have been debating on what to get. Alcohol was my first thought, but what if you don't drink or don't drink what I send? It's tough to find something that you can be sure most people will get use out of. I'm taking suggestions. One person in this thread is definitely on the list already and it's not too late to join him.

NatNet sent me a card but that's all I have received this year.

I've received a few hand-written Christmas cards and a $50 Starbucks Gift card from one of my clients. A hand-written card is a really nice touch these days.

we delivered close to 3 millions dollars of sales for different programs this year and i only receive a bottle of champagne from one of the smallest one.

guess now they assume i can afford everythign myself..

keep in mind i'm still a kid in my heart and sometime a small$ gift can get lots of love back from us.
