Actually I have never tasted the original Wendy's fries so I can't really say. But they advertise it saying they keep the skin on and use a new "sea salt".

They look good.

I don't notice a difference between the old and the new in taste. I did notice the skin still on the other day when the wife picked up some Wendy's when out running errands. But other than that, nothing worth running to Wendy's to get.

They look like Burger King's fries a bit.

We have the usual mcdonalds and burger king, do you guys have ben and jerrys and nando's? They're getting quite popular over here now!

We have Chips over here in good ol' Blighty. I believe that french fries are mashed and then shaped? Our chips are just nice slices of thick tattys fried and for the proper effect, should be eaten out of an old newspaper!

well, i dunno, over here we only get french fries in american take-aways and they certainally seem like they have been previously mashed.

harr, since i simply refuse to eat shit (mac D'uh or burger k) i REALLY miss Wendy's old fashioned over here in germany :(

every time i go to Wendy's my drink tastes like water.

I prefer Harvey's they have been doing chips (sorry fries) like that for ages, the burgers are fresh and you can have what you want on it.

sea salt. They now use sea salt instead of regular salt.

some do, some don't. mcdonalds does. wendys says these fries are 'naturally cut' so i assume that means they don't mash them up. harveys doesn't mash them up either.

I've had them and they are good only if they are right out of the fryer.

You guys should check if there is a Fuddruckers restaurant near you. Very nice burgers. They also make a great rib eye steak burger :)

Not sure how being too lazy to peel the potatoes is a selling point.

MacDonald?s fries are made up of reconstituted potato (ie, peelings bleached etc) and loads of lard assed idiots eat those.

americans can't make good fries, they are too thin and sloppy without any taste. KFC, burger king, mcdonalds.... all the same tasteless sloppy thin fries like this:
