Leaked terrorist interrorigation on Canadian Border (crazy)

Craziness.

Gambrinus 05-15-2010 09:02 PM

Typical arrogant Canadian. I hope they waterboard him and his wife.

WarChild 05-15-2010 09:04 PM

You're fucking ridiculous. The sad part is you don't even know it.

Sly 05-15-2010 09:17 PM

The guy took a very simple situation and blew it into a whole unnecessary ordeal.

No sympathy. Need to pick your battles. If he is too stupid to get in a battle with the border investigators then that's his problem...

Doctor Dre 05-15-2010 09:30 PM

The guy got what was comming to him. The US border guard was REALLY staying calm.

Fbomb - BANNED FOR LIFE 05-15-2010 09:46 PM

What a baby. STFU and do what they tell you.

riddler 05-15-2010 10:05 PM

cock sucker should of been tazed, arrogant asshole that got mouthy, the guards stayed calm and polite while this asshole whined.

dav3 05-15-2010 10:06 PM

He was looking for trouble, so they gave him some.

fuzebox 05-15-2010 10:10 PM

Any non-american who enters the USA on an even semi-regular basis should know how to behave to make your customs experience as quick and painless as possible :2 cents:

Mutt 05-15-2010 10:53 PM

while i agree that the guy is an idiot because there is a proper way to behave with customs officers, cops etc - there was NO threat made, he said 'i can shake my head at you too', mouthy but a threat? they goaded him, they do it all the time when they get guys like that.

my cousin is a customs officer at the same border, he was a typical high school nerd who loves guns - i'm sure he does shit like this all the time to people. glad he got a job like that cuz i always thought he might end up shooting up people at a mall or school some day.

at the end the customs officer says that when he resisted having cuffs put on him that that action is assault - is that true?

moral of the story is don't fuck around with authority figures. i've been in lots of similar situations when i was a young mouthy kid and you don't win.

mgtarheels 05-15-2010 11:11 PM

Those border agents were fucking douche bags.

Alky 05-16-2010 12:08 AM

would have been so much easier if he just said "we aren't sure exactly what stores we are going to yet" instead of "why does it matter?"

these are the same mouthy assholes who complain about police arresting them after something trivial when they mouth off to them.

show some fucking maturity and answer a question or two.

k0nr4d 05-16-2010 12:24 AM

Last time i crossed into the US from Canada i got a similar series of questions.

Why are you going to the states?
"To buy a car."

Where exactly?
"Portland."

Why don't you buy a car in canada?
"They are cheaper in the states."

Why are they cheaper in the states?
"I don't know."

Open your trunk please.
"Ok."

How fast does this car go?
"Speed Limit."

He then cracked up laughing and let me go, but it was a similar fucked up situation with a dozen stupid questions.

Domain Diva 05-16-2010 01:03 AM

i have crossed the usa/canada border more times than i can count and the questions verge on crazy to ridiculous at times...but you have to remember that in many instances the officer is attempting to throw you a curve ball and take you off your agenda ( even if that agenda is only shopping ) and also out of your comfort zone ....i guess that gives him then the edge to catch more telling lies etc...

the solution...simply take a chill pill and just comply/answer in a calm, polite way even if you wanna tell him something not so nice :1orglaugh ....then crossing is a breeze.

I felt sorry for this guy at first but then he just dug a hole for himself as time went on ..... your never gonna win those situations

notime 05-16-2010 01:27 AM

Never get funny with the custom's guys, you'll draw the short end each time.
Just smile and go yes sir, no sir and you'll be on your way in a few minutes.
I see it often on airports travelling to shows, how rude people can be towards customs officers for waiting in line, taking off their shoes and getting their toothpaste or water bottle confiscated....

SmokeyTheBear 05-16-2010 09:11 AM

american border agents have to be among the stupidest people on the planet.

Part of the reason this guy got so much hassles besides the fact he was also being a bit of a dick is that border agents with canada are told not to turn back canadians because over the years they have gotten attention for being rude and abusive to tourists when canadian border agents don't treat american tourists that way.

So they arent really allowed to turn back mouthy rude canadians UNLESS they break the law , so they goad them into being confrontational so they can turn them back.

I travel across the border alot so i have run into some really funny ones myself, been "semi-arrested" at least a half dozen times.

I have multiple citizenships ( 4 ) so i like to toss them a curveball when i go across. I always cross into america showing my canadian citezenship, then when they start asking the questions i be really vague.

me - " gonna go get me some guns and ammo "

agent - "what did you say"

me - "guns n ammo son, i likes to shoot"

agent - "what is the purpose of your trip business or pleasure "

me - " little bit of both, if i am lucky, do you know any hot escorts "

agent - " you had better cooperate or you will not be crossing the border today "

me - "i forgot to mention i am an american with diplomatic ties :) "

agent - types on computer for a bit " have a nice day "

That's funny and all... but really all you are doing is being as much of an asshole as they are. Using your diplomatic ties as a way to mouth off is no different than using a badge to be a dick.

It's discrimination,plain and simple

Pipecrew 05-16-2010 11:50 AM

I see this all the time, everyones a tough guy until the handcuffs go on, then its a total Tear and apology fest in the back of the police car.

WarChild 05-16-2010 12:01 PM

Border guards can be dicks on both the US and Canadian sides of the border. Anybody that behaves like that at a border crossing can expect to get just that kind of treatment. I've been crossing the US/Canadian border all of my life and while I've be held up and bothered a handfull of times I've never even been denied entry. You don't fuck with people that weren't smart enough to be real cops, have been empowered and built up to believe they're the last line of deffense for their country and don't even really need a reason to deny you entry. It's just common fucking sense.

Furious_Male 05-16-2010 12:32 PM

Living in a border city I cross a lot (including that border). It is without a doubt the best idea to let the egotistical border guards feel they are in control. Answer them without attitude and carry on with your day.

This guy sounds like one of those guys that likes to test the system. Just like the guys that make those videos messing with border patrol down south.

sperbonzo 05-16-2010 01:05 PM

What a total dick... This guy is such an arrogant baby. Has he ever crossed a border before? Customs agents ALL OVER THE WORLD have very similar rights and powers. This Canadian needs to grow up and stop trying to cause so much trouble. I cross borders all this time, and if I act like such an idiot, then I deserve the trouble that I would get. This moron needs be an adult and figure out how things work in the world. If he had simply been polite the whole thing would have been over in minutes. "I'm not a threat! You've got the wrong guy!" And they are supposed to just take his word for it??? This Canadian is a total Arrogant tool.

I bet 99% of all other officers would have responded with :

"It only matters that you know where you are going because it helps
me determine your purpose for entering the country".

And that would have been the end of it since the guy would have understood that.

The best officer would know the difference between "irate" people and terrorist.

A terrorist would answer all those questions perfectly with a smile and then
blow us all the fuck up.

Not to mention that the terrorist is actually slipping through while officers
are preoccupied with basically nothing but flexing for some guy who is nobody.

Great, and the moment you convince the population to kick in more taxes to get only the best and the brighest employees working at Customs, then somehow neutralize the human tendancy to have a bad day or sometimes be a dick, you'll have it all solved!

In the mean time, I'm satisfied with just keeping my mouth shut, answering their questions and going on my way unscathed.

How many assholes do you think they deal with day in and day out? They grow weary of verbal sparring...and have pretty much heard the same retorts over and over again. They are not there to cater to people but to perform a job and verbal jousting interferes with performing their job.

I went through the border and showed my Hawaii drivers license
and they questioned me with this :

:1orglaugh

I had to explain that Hawaii was a US state and I was just returning to
my country of origin.

Fucking idiots.

I worked as a bouncer so .......

I dealt with drunk violent people and reacting to smart mouths is a waste of time.
Every drunk person coming in the door had a smart ass comment when asked
to show ID. Pfffffffttt!

Pay attention to real shit; that officer got suckered into a distraction.

The terrorist need only send one guy to smart off to the officers and they all
go nuts on the one guy and get slack as shit on all the other people and the
terrorist just ease on through.

Pipecrew 05-16-2010 08:49 PM

I love all these re-hashed custom interaction stories posted on GFY.

Everyone pretending they were a big smart ass, when theory they were probably "Yes Sir, no sir"

Dcat 05-16-2010 09:07 PM

Three terrorists a day! :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

This guy had a huge chip on his shoulder and totally deserved it. He really needs to learn to keep his big mouth shut. He's lucky they went easy on him.

Couldn't have said it better. The agent asked what stores, to see if the guy was lying about where he was going. Last time I crossed, they asked me if I was going for Work or School... I gave him a confused look and said "For fun". He just smiled at me then 'cause he knew I admired the question. I learned how to deal with authority pretty quickly in the Army. This kid was so arrogant, had no clue, and wanted to fight The Man. Just by recording the exchange, you knew he was looking for trouble. That video should have as it's soundtrack 'I Fought the Law and the Law Won':

This is a true story that happened 2 years ago. I've crossed the boarder (US) possibly a hundred times. I lived in Mexico and ran an import export business and I do travel overseas a lot and only had one conflict.

CA: Where are you coming from?
Me: Moscow:
CA: You look nervous
Me: Been on a plane for 16 hours and need to smoke.
CA: What did you do in Moscow?
Me: Met business associates and friends
CA: What type of business?
Me: IT internet related...
CA: < she then asked another 20 questions> Do you have anything to declare?
Me: No
CA: Why were you there?
Me: I already told you.
CA: Answer the question
Me: No.

...I now go to secondary...

CA2: Why did you not answer CA1 questions.
Me: I did
CA2: CA1 said you did not answer her questions.
Me: Again, I did
CA2: Lying or not answering a question is against Federal law
Me: Well, then I have nothing to worry about.

...I now go into another room with a new CA3 who rips apart my bag and goes over my documents, passport, pats me down. I flinch when he grabs my cock

CA3: Why did you flinch/pull away?
Me: I don't like people touching my cock. <already decided I am going to jail>
CA3:The US CS has the right to do full body searches.
Me: I bet you like your job.
CA3: The US CS has the right to detain you for 48 hours
Me: Will it just be us?
CA3: We have a new room here that we will put you in if you don't calm down
Me: I am calm and you'll be glad you have that room if you touch my cock again.

..... off to the room I go. 7 hours later a new CA opens the door and tells me I can go. I noticed all my stuff is thrown in a corner like they just tossed my content of my carry on.

I now answer all questions no matter how dumb they are.:2 cents:

I love it how they always tell you to "calm down sir" when you haven't even raised your voice. Props to you for standing up to those idiots but you see what it got you eventually. Nothing. And there's nothing you can do about it either.

Treat them with respect and answer them as if you're talking to a nine year old.
Works for me.

exactly , i figure they need a little of the reverse love every once in awhile. I do it to the canadian guards as well , they just arent dicks very often

NickB. 05-17-2010 12:35 AM

Why being a wiseguy to customs? itll just delay your travel, messes the nice day up with the wife out of town?

I agree theyre dicks, but hey why not get along with it? make your life easier...
While taping the whole thing I am sure that made the person act a little bit more up than normally
