Guns selling faster than they can make them.
 

Over the weekend during a super bowl party I was talking to a friend of mine that manages a gun shop. We were talking about the economy and he said things are booming for them and that they can't get enough enough stock in to keep up with demand. After some conversation I learned that starting the day after Obama's election business has gone through the roof for them. He will put in an order for $35,000 worth of guns and be lucky to get $3,500 of the order. Most of the guns they sell (any assault rifles and a lot of pistols) are on huge back order and he has been told by the manufacturers that they are working around the clock to fill orders.

They had 15 AR15's in their shop. Normally they sell 1-2 a month. They sold all of them the first week after Obama's election and can't get more because the manufacturer is so back logged. A lot of people feel Obama will bring back the assault rifle ban so they are buying now and others think he will try to ban the sale of almost all guns so they are buying pistols with the bigger clips and anything that might get limited.

It is pretty wild. He also said the cost of most ammo has nearly doubled and that in most places even the raw materials to load your own shot is sold out and on major back order.

I had seen that gun sales went up right after the election. I just had no idea it was by that much.

depends on where you are living, I have noticed the more inbred the place the more guns are selling because simple minds don't understand how everything works

Obama's color has nothing to do with his fear of him. His being liberal does. Liberals are more likely to pass anti-gun laws.

Really. He told me they can't get them right now. There were a lot of guns that they just can't get from the distributor and they have actually been going to other stores (and shows) and buying guns then marking up the price and selling them at their store.

My buddy works in Milwaukie, I wonder if the location has anything to do with it. By the way he was talking the distributors are telling him nationwide the demand is huge.

I would imagine the red states like Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas are selling like crazy. There are gun lovers everywhere, but in the redneck heavy places it must be a feeding frenzy.

An AR15, or M1A1 Carbine, or any semi automatic that you can legally purchase in any gun shop in America, is NOT AN ASSAULT RIFLE, nor is an AK, AKM or any of the variations you can now buy.

An assault rifle is a FULLY AUTOMATIC, which are already illegal and have been since the 1930s when the US modelled their antigun laws after those written by Adolf Hitler in 1938.

The ONLY way a person can LEGALLY possess a fully automatic weapons is via a classIII license issued by the BATFE.

The bans on semi-automatic weapons proposed by Obama and Biden are based solely on APPEARANCE and not operation or function.. The majority of the features they note that make a weapon as an assault rifle in their eyes are in reality safety features and do not make the weapon any more dangerous.. Such as a pistol grip, muzzle break, etc..

Also, these retards also include anything with a bayonet mount.. When was the last time you saw a thug with a fucking bayonet on his weapon???

People shouldn't be allowed to form an opinion if they don't know the facts, particularly those whom know nothing whatsoever about guns and how they work.

The TRUTH about the proposed and pending anti-gun legislation has nothing whatsoever to do with reduction of crime, nor of safety or common sense. The technology of a semi-automatic firearm is a hundred or more years old. It is essentially unchanged and the inner workings of these weapons are the same.

The Obama/Biden Assault Weapons Ban does not ban assault weapons, it bans legal semi-automatic weapons used in competitive shooting sports, recreational shooting, hunting and self defense. Such a ban is unconstitutional and it is tyrannical in both intent and nature.

The media continues to distort the facts when it comes to guns and have the common habit of referring to semi automatic rifles as assault weapons when that is untrue. The media and politicians continue to call many rifles assault rifles solely based on appearance.

Educate yourself before opening your mouth in support of something you know jack shit about.

FBI & DOJ statistical data and studies show that semi-automatic weapons are rarely used in crime as most criminal types favor small concealable hand guns.

A fucking Mossberg 500 was used in more crimes than any damn AK ever was.


Gun control has NOTHING WHATSOEVER about keeping guns out of the hands of criminals. The ONLY people it prevents from owning them is YOU!
