they all must get tons of C & D letters every week. They'll post anything you send them, no questions if it's yours.

Even some big corporate sites do it. IFilm used to have a huge section of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, now it's disappeared.

If for some reason it does hit off....I suggest asking for a raise
since you are making a huge contribution in promoting GFY.

I would doubt that. She posted the pic herself, didn't she? There goes the embarrassment argument. I'm not saying it's not actionable but I doubt it's worth a lot of money.

What they've done with their hundreds of thousands of page views is much worse than other things i've seen people sue over and get paid big damages.

I think a lot has to be said about the CONTEXT in which the image itself is being portrayed. She posted the same pic on this board amongst collegues. Not for pee-on surfers with no appreciation of the actual person. Cheshire posted the pic for people to see who already had a mindset of what her character is. Anyone who sees her after seeing that pic first has a pre-concieved defaming image in thier head of her. Would you be able to look at her and hold a conversation seriously after seeing that first and knowing who it is?

Yeah, I think it is a good case of defamation of character.

But it is also pretty funny and the actual chances of her being seriously hurt by this is arguable. C'mon Cheshire, give it up, it is a LITTLE funny...

Maybe she should go with it, and start posting more pics so she could do an entire site with that theme? No doubt it would be a hit. :1orglaugh

i rarely visit CJ. First movie i clicked on 'Biscuit Girl' or something like that, obviously a paid listing, the paysite it leads to is one of those movie archive sites with not a MB of content paid for, all stolen vids.

I think I've already proved I have the ability to laugh at myself ~ and like Sly told me, maybe I'll even get a few dates out of that pic, lol. :thumbsup
