Should I move to Canada??
Just wondering where would be a good place to move to next..
Canada seems like it might be good but I've never been there.. the other side of the border is also a possibility (although getting a visa may not be so easy!) but the only place I've been to on that side is vegas which may not be representative of the rest of the US.. ;) The problem is I kind of like warm countries, beaches and sea views.. my impression of canada is that it resembles northern exposure.. ;) So.. is it a good place to live? Where in canada would be best? Should I go or should I stay?? :helpme |
All I know is now I have that song in my head.....
Should I stay or should I go nowww? If I go there will be trouble.... If I stay there will be trouble.. |
Canada is great
I would recommend Vancouver. It's got milder weather and the scenery is just breathtaking. What a beautiful city. The girls are also really horny there. |
well, the mildest climate is on the West Coast (Vancouver, Victoria) but it still wouldn't qualify as a "warm" climate. It rarely goes below 0 Celcius or snows but is cold and rainy during the winter months. But, living here - you may develop an interest in activities you can't take adavntage of elsewher - like sking in the nearby mountains...

Um............NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Move to Ontario
|
Why would you move? Spain is a nice country.
|
I would only move to Vancouver.
Do not move to Toronto or Montreal. |
If you want to move anywhere in Canda move to Ottawa :) Extremly beautiful :)
It can get very cold but it builds character :thumbsup We have the worlds most pretty and respectable girls :) It's Canada's national capital. Oh my there are not enough words to describe what it's like ,just come see for yourself !!! :) |
really depends on your interests Mark
Canada is as diverse as any large country the east coast is known for it's abundance of friendly people and delicious sea food quebec may have it's political instabilities but the general population is filled with party animals and a real festive mentality ontario can offer you the beauty of the northern towns and parks and the amazing kinetic energy of large cities like Toronto (Prince just moved to Toronto, so it can't be all that bad) manitoba is all about fishing and hunting, but they do have one of the nicest capital cities in Canada saskatchewan is rural and filled with farms, lakes, parks and great expanses of unfilled land alberta has the ranches and badlands as well as the rocky mountains british columbia is the canadian version of california the northern territories are mystical, cold, unforgiving, but the natural beauty will take your breathe away and for the people who don't know the geography of Canada, most of the northern american states are further north than our province of Ontario (and i'm not talking about Alaska either) and that Pelee Island (in Ontario) is as far south as the most northern part of california |

I like ottawa that's where my G/f's from. But it can't compare to Vancouver |
montreal is known for three things:
1) It has an incredible party/nightlife scene. Like it was said... we're all party animals. 2) We have a very relaxed, european influenced attitude. we have a very relaxed attitude towards sex and drugs. strip clubs are bustling, contact dances are $10cdn (about .006 us). you can walk past a cop on the city's busiest streets while smoking a joint and no one will say anything. 3) Most importantly: Montreal has the highest percentage of hot girls worldwide. Montreal girls are incredibly attractive and have a relaxed attitude towards anything sex related. |
Nah, forget Canada.
We have indians. Getting killed by flying arrows is too dangerous. I suggest you move to Indonesia, I hear they have kick ass beaches down there.. |
Vancouver is the place to be if you ask me
|
Ya gotta check out Vancouver Island. Not as rainy as Vancouver ( on the East side near Nanaimo). Great outdoor activities. Grat scenery. Lots of parks, oceanside stolling areas.
Hmmm.. So Why am I thinking of going to Thailand <g> |
You guys still not convinced Vancouver is the place to be?? Want me to post some more pics???

How expensive is BC bud in BC?

Canada is a great country.
Its very beautiful, free medical, social programs if you ever hit rock bottom, living expenses are low, crime rate is low & the air is cleaner then most US cities. The biggest problem is the cold winters. Vancouver or Victoria are the best places if you want to avoid the cold. The temp is very similar to Seattle. It does get cold in the winter but not much colder then 0. Taxes in Canada are kinda high, but the US dollar exchange rate is always around 50% so that kinda balances things out. Register a business and you can get alot of tax breaks. So it isn't too bad. I've been all around Canada and like Vancouver the most, Toronto is a close second though. |
Damn! This could be more difficult than I thought..
Vancouver sounds pretty good.. On the other hand.. Quote:
saskatchewan is a cool name though.. conjures up images of bigfoot or carlos castenada for some reason.. Quote:
Now the thing is I heard a rumour that there's parts of canada where they make you speak french.. I refuse to rename my site to LeSexPlanets! ;) Anyway I am from England where we take great pride in our total lack of foreign language skills.. Ottawa sounds too cold for my liking.. is there any place like the Alaska featured in Northern Exposure but with sun and beaches?! (and hot girls ;) Seems like Vancouver is the front runner at the moment anyway.. pictures would be welcomed! |

I live in Ottawa and it's a great place. Snows like a bitch in the winter though. I'm from Halifax originally, in Ottawa for 5 years, and I gotta tell ya. It has the great scenery and ocean plus people are very friendly and it real cheap to live. One of the cheapest in Canada. I've never been to Vancouver, but I hear it is great too.

Canada is ok, just do not plan on hiring people up there to get any work done;-)

Vancouver Rocks
I love that place... Not the warmest, but definitely not the coldest place either. If I could talk the woman into it I'd be moving to Chile or Argentina, I also like ocean views & warm climates... ciao - J |
Damn! ...there seems to be more Canadians in here than a good ol' Hockey Game.
Beer should be the fifth food group, eh? |
Do you have Guinness in Canada?? What about a decent pint of bitter?
|
Quote:
and the micro-breweries here are extremely successful if you want Guinness, either pick some up at the beer store or just visit the local irish pub :winkwink: |
Vancouver is a nice place, even the fraser valley is really nice to live at.
Im in Edmonton alberta and I love it here, well except for the bitter cold we get in january and february. |
if cold is a big concern, only southern ontario or BC should be considered.
if not, Montreal is a great place. |
