It's starting in May. The checks are issued based on the last 2 digits of your social security number. Not everyone will get $600, its up to $600 for single.

I'm suppose to be getting $300 July 27, I'm planning on buying a 22" monitor to go with my other one.

where do you check the status of this or to find out if you should be getting anything back?

$600 to singles making less than $75,000
$1,200 to couples making less than $150,000
$300 rebates per child

The order in which the IRS sends out payments will be based on Social Security numbers. If your return was processed by April 15, here's what you can expect.

i got mine, and I was so excited. $643.00.

Then I noticed traffic was down. and got bumped out.

I'm going to keep it in the bank, and spend it bit by bit as I pay my bills.

You guys should look at the estimator. Most people will not get $600. It will be around $300.
