Danza, the Apple ones who EVER hit $1k, but the Dell are close. You can get the 3007s for $1199 today. They're usually $1399 and hit $1199 at least one week each month.

That doesn't look THAT cheap, I've seen brand name 24" ones for around $250 in the past...

I couldnt be happier, outstanding image, super clear and no dead pixels.

300:1 contrast is pretty muted.. You won't notice it if upgrading from a cheap monitor but if you put it up against a quality Dell you would throw it away.

Nice think I might pick that up. Had the same acer 21 for almost 4 years now with no problems

22 inch monitors are all cheap TN panels. I'm pretty sure there's not "one" that isn't a cheap TN panel. You can get a 24 inch for not a whole lot more and quite a few of them are not cheap TN panels.

I did alot of leg work..went to the stores and compared the monitors side by side. the HPs were by far the best images..I compared them in 3 different stores and they came out on top in all 3 (I have to say I was sticking to the $250-550 price range)
They were $349 in the stores, I came home and saw them on tiger for $100 off and couldnt order them fast enough.

Sure someone will always come along and say can get em cheaper...blah blah blah
For sure the acer that woj posted isnt even in the same class, I saw it live..nothing special.

cool they seem to have a decent rating... not a bait and upsell joint... ive gotten fucked before with those... order a camera for ridiculously cheap then they want you to call em and confirm so you do they try to upsell you.. you say dood I got everything I just want camera... then they say well for american version you need to pay more...

They sold out up here last week. The flyer went out while I was down in Phoenix so I missed it. BAH

Think I got mine at Office Max for $200 at the store.

I picked up 2 of these for $200 each shipped like 6 months ago.

Yeah... I picked up a Viewsonic for a little over $200, shipped, about 8 months ago, myself.

Not bad for an HP... but wouldn't call it "CHEAP."

tiger direct fucked me out of $300 worth of rebates before they suck ass.

I have used Tiger Direct for years, never had a single problem. Rough estimate.. I have spent about 8k with them over 5-6 years..laptop, 3 desktops, 5 monitors and various other small items.
Never had a defective item or warranty service needed.

I have that monitor but the HDMI version (w2207H) it's kick-ass! :thumbsup

I have a 20 inch widescreen HP and it is absolutely beautiful... I love it. Though I typically work from my 24 inch Dell... which is amazing. :-)
