this is unfortunately wrong. they had about 30% strong supporters and another 30 or 40% that did not care. antisemitism was always strong, already since hundreds of years before - and not only in germany btw. having weapons wouldn't have changed anything. cause those who would have resisted at that time were a minority. look at the indians in your country, they had weapons. didn't help them either

maybe they stole some rifles here and there? otherwise all the western movies i saw were wrong - where they had rifles. but that's maybe my problem: it's your countries history, not mine, so i don't know exactly.
and vice versa - i think, i might know a little better about the situation in germany between '33 and '45 (and the 20-30 years before that lead to that situation)

but anyways - i don't blame anyone for picking things up from his environment while growing up. i just say: the world would be a much nicer place when no one needed weapons. that's it.
