My flight was cancelled, but I ended up making it to Miami. I'm stuck here for the day though as well!

I made it all the way down here.. but started having SO MUCH FUN in San Jose, that i never made it to the bash..

Cuartel de la boca del monte is the place to be on Monday nights.

We are stuck here as well. We are at a some low rent hotel in downtown San Jose. The hotel told us that it was not safe to go out once the sun starts to drop. WTF American Air. Thanks for the hookup.

We are still trying to find a flight out before Wednesday. If you have any hookups, let us know. LOL

They say its not safe but it is. i walked always around san jose downtown lol.

have the greatest time there. just watch out for some bad people. You will notice the differnts of people.

What hotel do they have you guys stuck up at? There are a couple better ones downtown that are a little more amiable towards americans. With everyone still stuck here I might have to throw a party =)

What happened with all the flights?

American Airlines flights were almost all cancelled, not going out until Wednesday.. I got lucky and was on a taca flight and got back late last night.. Only a 2 hour delay... But it worked out great for me, as I went to the fiesta casino and made $500... Costa Rica was a lot of fun...

Bump for more hookers, drugs, barfights, and donkey shows...

Bunch of staff going on strike at the airport because of an upcoming free trade bill they don't want signed.

Pretty straightforward, ticos love a good strike or protest because it means they don't have to go to work.

Hey we relocated over to the Marriott here in San Jose. Now I can work on my laptop in the lap of luxury while we wait for our flight on Wed. LOL

The delay is a major bummer, but the show was totally worth it. If you have not been to the Bash before, make sure to check it out next year.

But seriously, let's set something up... I gotta finish a bit of work and grab something to eat. Cuartel de la Boca del Monte (downtown san jose, most taxistas will know it) is the only real happening bar on Mondays, unless you guys just wanna meet up at the Del Rey again and go from there.

Alright, we're going to have some dinner and then head to Cuartel de la Boca del Monte for 9-10pm ish... Most taxistas should know it but if not then tell them to go to Cine Magaly, it's half a block west of that.

Ain't no party like a being-stuck-in-cr-cuz-there-ain't-nobody-working-at-the-airport party cuz the cr parties don't stop...........

My gf is sick so unfortunately I probably won't make it out tonight. However y'all should hit Cuartel like Rob said.

Caz, Oystein, DJ Air3k, Mark Womak and Shey, and Dodger and I were on American Air, relieved that we were on our plane, and avoided the labor protest that was starting up in the streets. After 1/2 hour of sitting on a pee scented plane, we taxied about 10 minutes out then they stopped the plane, announced that they needed to lighten the load in order to accommodate more "fuel," and we watched as they proceeded to take our luggage off the plane and load on other bags. The last we saw of our bags they were still sitting on the runway.

The airlines still has no clue where our bags are since they could not get a hold of the San Jose American Air office. :disgust

Its good to have a travel agent for a wife. I had a 1 day delay. Jersey girl is stil there also I think. If you see her tell her I made it out ok. We were travel buddies and got split up :( Sitting for another 30 mins here in miami then back home. Made for a fun adventure though. Cr bash was a blast! I should be back down in less than 2 months.
