How many people with HIV/aids do you know
And are these people gay or straight ?

In my country the HIV/AIDS infection is very low but about 1:700 people got it ?

So why i don't know anybody with HIV/AIDS
Nobody fucking tells!

I don't know anybody, for all I know I have it(if my wife cheated):(

Why does it matter? - treat everyone as if they have it and you will be as safe as you can be.

In the US, AIDS is a gay disease (IV drug users too).

I would like to dispute this and say that in reality in the US aside from IV drug users in areas that do not have needle exchange programs, AIDS is a poor womans disease specially among minorities. Mostly caused by men contracting it in prison (no condoms allowed) and being released untested back into poor areas where they infect women.

Pretty bold statement.. not that im gay or a IV drug user.. But its not 'Just' a 'Gay Disease'

Bullshit, gay/drug users/rich*poor they all get it. I've heard quite alot of rich and upper middle class people dying from that. They just don't like it publicized. It's equally distributed among unlucky drug users and sexually active people, it doesn't give a shit what your income is.

aids/hiv is a disease mostly of behavior. it does matter the choices people make, especially those in the "adult entertainment industry" if only, for the lesson.
