Will Bin Laden ever be caught?

Is it even possible for a man with such a high profile to hide? He sends out videos every now and then, yet he can't be traced by the most powerful intelligence agencies the world over? Doesn't he even have a bounty on his head? It doesn't seem like there has ever been any intention of getting this guy. Wasn't he supposedly in the US the day of 9/11 and shuttled out on a private jet at the request and/or knowledge of the President?

samsam 12-17-2006 11:54 AM

hes a trophy catch.... they know how badly the US wants him so he will just keep hiding in a basement somewhere and noone will find out where the fuck he is.

his aim is to keep the revolution going and he can only do that if he stays alive so

-SECCO- 12-17-2006 11:56 AM

i guess bush will "catch" him when the time is "right"

madawgz 12-17-2006 11:56 AM

i personally think hes dead, he was having some medial issues or whatever

who 12-17-2006 11:59 AM

He works for the fucking CIA, why would anybody catch him?

Yes. Amongst religious zealots.

He sends out videos every now and then, yet he can't be traced by the most powerful intelligence agencies the world over?

I don't believe he's sent any video out in sometime now. I think the last was voice only.

Doesn't he even have a bounty on his head?

Yes.

Wasn't he supposedly in the US the day of 9/11 and shuttled out on a private jet at the request and/or knowledge of the President?

No.

Glad to be of service.

salesman 12-17-2006 12:11 PM

i think he must be dead already

Yes. All it will take is a draft, five trillion dollars, a mining colony setup on a remote asteroid, and three ducks painted silver.

I bet his friends when he was a kid hated playing hide and seek with him.

even with top intelligence agencies, with bin ladens faithful network, hiding is pretty sound.

I'm not so sure. Religious people stray for pleasures of the flesh and for money just like everybody else.

I'm not sure that holds true with people that are willing to die for their religion. :2 cents:

mastermikex 12-17-2006 01:19 PM

as for the bounty, 25 mil or something? lots of people in the middle east, especially the religious fanatics, have no concept of how much 25 million is...i heard of one kid who sold balloons, they asked him what he would do with the money if he found bin laden, and the kid said he could buy 100 balloons with that money

Uh... children in general (not just those in the middle east) don't have a great concept of money. Ask any child in America that same question and they will say very similar, silly responses. People in the Middle East (adults) know full well the value and power of 25 million US dollars.

SuckOnThis 12-17-2006 03:16 PM

You don't think they could have caught him by now if they wanted to? C'mon. bin Laden is a lot more valuable to the Bush admin on the loose than if he were captured.

McVeigh was caught the same night of the OKC bombing, here we are more than 5 years after 9/11 and Bush acts like he doesnt even exist.

"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our Number one priority and we will not rest until we find him!" -- G. W. Bush, September 13, 2001

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority." - G.W. Bush, 3/13/02

Yngwie 12-17-2006 03:40 PM

not a chance in hell. Unless they call on him for "help" that is.

1. The Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan are a fugitive's paradise.

2. The rugged terrain there makes tracking anyone very hard.

3. Yes, there is a $25 million dollar reward:
http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/terrorists/terbinladen.htm

4. If you believe it is so easy to catch Bin Laden, why don't you drop what you are doing and go over there and pocket the $25 MIL reward?

5. President Clinton had Bin Laden in the crosshairs but let him go.

6. His relatives were let out of the country for their own safety. The family is very large and spread out. They are not terrorists/ criminals.

what war child said.

the people protecting him wont be the brain washed soldiers who are willing die, they are the people who actully do the brainwashing who believe 100% from the beginning that what they do are right. this is a whole network.

distorted crap - true president clinton had his chance, but the missle they had ready to shoot him with was not perfected enough and there was a good chance of huge innocent loss of life. in the village where he was hiding and seeing as he wasnt of the magnitude he is today. he seemed like a good decision.

Especially when a majority of the military resources are focused in Iraq.

I suppose if I had at my disposal the US military, the CIA, FBI, and the worlds most sophisticated intelligence it would be easy.

Now thats a good one. Lets net forget to mention they were here in the first place doing business with Bush Sr. When are you dumbfucks going to quit defending criminals and traitors?

TheShaft 12-17-2006 04:28 PM

IMy guess would Bin Laden is hiding safley in Crawford, Texas... I mean after all his family are oil billionares, and I know there are uite a few oil compaines in Crawford.. :)

All jokes aside, you can't tell me with the Power of the USA Government, the CIA and the NSA they cant find this shitrod... bullshit. I know by now some of the terrorist the Army has captured have gave up some info on Bin Laden... I know they are behind him, but when you have someone taking a blowtorch to your balls, your going to talk too...

Just my thoughts,

Sorry, the left wingers objected to those methods so now we just feed them gnocchi and give them a water view of Guantanamo Bay.

macmark 12-17-2006 04:42 PM

If they wanted to catch him, they'd catch him.

The FBI has no hard evidence Bin Laden was the mastermind for 9/11. The Taliban even offered to give up Bin Laden pre 9/11. So it's slightly ironic that they get bombed to high heaven for 'harbouring' him afterwards.

It's has nothing to do with Bin Laden at all, the War on Terror. The worlds most wanted terrorist, and no one is looking for him. You have to Wonder why...

And in the same article:

'However, that was before Sept. 11. Bin Laden did not attack and kill thousands of American civilians on American soil when Clinton was commander in chief. That happened on Bush's watch, and he essentially blew a prime opportunity to take out bin Laden when U.S. intelligence had a fix on him in his Tora Bora rats' nest. He blew it because he and his oil cronies were preoccupied with another opportunity ? taking out the Caspian energy export pipeline-blocking Taliban in Kabul and Kandahar.'
