I Just Don' Get It - Cheater Accusations
 

I saw Spacedog call someone a cp pusher and that has never been let down, and quickly brought up whenever someone feels the need to debate public slander or other accusations.

But when someone straight up slanders or speaks out on the wrongs of some in things I participate in, its not even addressed, ignored, and my guess being swept under the rug; I tend to get a little interested in whats fact and not.

I have checked <a href=http://gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=64551>This Thread</a> the last couple morning, and the accusations are still there.

Is this true? Some of us still want to know.--

This whole contest WAS planned as a publicity stunt for all the designers. There were no prizes when it was suggested. But keep telling yourself you're the rightful winner and maybe Lens will send you a TV

If someone had claimed my site had been made a month before or anything, I would be there to defend it.

Again, im just curious, no one is saying ANYTHING, but when brought up, there are the few who come just for the flame, but thats it.

I too think the accusations need to be explained. I don't have an axe to grind in the matter, but what is fair, should be fair.

Why do you continue to make this about the TV?

this has nothing to do with winning the contest, get that through your head.

Ive been trying to get hold of snow for 2 days, so i dont know where he is. LOL

But remember, there was a second judging, Amp didn't win and mafiaporn site wasn't entered. Different people had different INTERPRETATIONS of the initial rules, and the rules the second time around. Did Amp break the rules? Maybe, it depends on your interpretation. But, the contest, initially, was a publicity stunt and i don't think anyone felt Lawyers needed to be hired to write the rules.

I believe the spirit of the rules was that if you designed a great site 6 months ago that is converting great, dont just grab that and enter it. I dont know the time frame of when Amp began and ended the work on either of his sites, but he did show me incomplete works on the mafiaporn one AFTER the contest was suggested.

Isn't everything about a TV? I know in my house, every fight the kids have always boils down to the TV.

It has everything to do with the fucking TV. If there were no prizes then none of this shit would have gotten so out of hand in the first place. Lets not bullshit each other here. If it weren't for the prizes no one would have cared who won or who lost, who broke this rule or that rule. By the way how can you have rules when you are trying to make sites that convert the best. It is time for you all to build a bridge and get over it. Amp did this to try and get everyone some publicity. Any hidden talents out there some serious exposure. Now you all are turning on him. Nice bit of graditude there. The time has come for you guys to move on.

Not even the Kennedy assasination has been questioned this much. The contest is over. There was 2 judgings. Amp did not win. A designer from adult.com won. Well deserved also, it was a kick ass site. There were like 12 judges, top names in the industry who really didnt give a shit about any of the designers. Whats the problem.

In fact the work I have gotten since the contest, let alone the week of, has paid off mroe than that TV ever would.

As the above said, I was not even in the recount and have never debated the results, for me to would be completely ignorant, since MOST of the sites in the contest were better than mine!

I never thought I would win against some of these guys.

My beef was simply with the accusations. They did not seem like flaming, they sounded like real deals gone bad, and no one addressed them.
