Favorite show as a kid....
For some reason this popped into my head but what were your favorite shows/cartoons as a kid? I remember that one show with Bill Cosby when I was real young, you know the one where he used to draw with that marker that looked like a bee, and it would make sounds... di-do-da-da-di-do ...as he was drawing, that was the shit :thumbsup

Hmmm you guys have never heard of them! Back when tv shows were 'taped' on to a disc much like a vinyl record album instead of tape. And an awful lot of the shows were broadcast live. :1orglaugh
You never saw Johnny Carson unless it was a live broadcast. Too funny!! |

That was called Picture Pages..used to love that. I always wanted to win the pen. I belive the song went something like this (hit it) 'Picture pages, picture pages, time to get your crayon and your pencil'. I was a weird girl. I liked He-man and hated She-ra. My faves as a kid: You Can't Do That On Television Snorks Kids Inc. Cold Turkey (does anyone remember this?) Growing Pains Who's The Boss Our House Night Court Mash Small Wonder Punky Brewster Friday 13th tv show (again..does anyone else remember this and does anyone agree that the format was stolen by buffy..just with out a cute girl?) Full House Perfect Strangers Gimme a break (bbw!) Facts of Life (went to school with Blair's cousin) Parker Lewis Can't Loose Family Ties Cosby Show Bossom Buddies Golden Girls Designing Women Something I can't remember the name of but it was cocktail waitresses that worked in a resturant with a lounge lizzard type guy..was in syndication. Mamma's family was on alot because my sister loved it but I couldn't stand it. Ah, the days before cable when we had to rely on the channel that only ran reruns. |

Wasn't this on that Cosby Show?
"One of these things is not like the other. One of these things does not belong. Can you guess which one? When I was five-ish I liked Captain Kangaroo, the part where the ping pong balls were dropped on people's heads by Mr. Moose. The more modern equivalent is the green goo getting dropped on people in "You Can't Do That On Television". I think maybe I liked watching people get stuff dropped on their heads. When really young, I liked: Leave it to Beaver Andy Griffith Abbott and Costello Laurel and Hardy All in reruns. |
Greatest American Hero. That came out when I was 12. The theme song for that was number one on billboard when it came out. A movie version of this is scheduled to go into production this year or next.
|
Johnny Quest also kicked ass :thumbsup
|
