how much did you spend on your wedding?
if you don't mind saying.
:glugglug |
was about $10K for the dinner reception for about 150 people about 9 years ago - that was reasonable higherend for winnipeg at the time - nice hall - good food - higher end drinks
|
Fuck it.. marriage is just to expensive. Lets spend the bucks on a weekend in LasVegas :thumbsup
|
$25 for the marriage license at the marriage commissioner in vegas, and $40 for the ceremony

400 uk pounds (a little over $700). That includes clothes and rings :thumbsup

Isn't it up to the bride's parents to pay :)

far too much. should not have bothered, just given the money straight to the ex wife to get rid of her :)

Over 20k. About 350 people were there. I probably knew about 100 of them.
Formal weddings have very little to do about the bride & groom. It's all about the parents... We actually eloped first. Called a friend to meet us at the courthouse as our witness! Our families had driven us crazy while we were dating. Later they coaxed us into a church wedding. UGH. |

Around 10k about 15 years ago. With no booze. My ex husband and I didn't drink at all. So we didn't have an open bar. We had the reception at the yacht club in town.

About $15k for a 45 people dinner at a fancy french restaurant here in Japan.

|
First wife, the wedding cost her parents 35K.
Second wife cost me about 2k. maybe a little more. |

Agree. Spending that much unless you're just rolling in money doesn't make sense. That many years ago and then some I remember her spending $3K for a dress and a bit more than that for the photo album. Don't remeber the total cost. |
I just got married last month and my wife's family took care of everything pretty much. I paid for the tuxes and the dj but that was it.

I'd tell you what our budget is quiet, but that would be useless since we're already over it and we still have months to go. |
I still dream about it...
|
About 75k not including the honeymoon....Worth every penny though.
|
Probably under $1000 including my dress. I didn't want a big wedding. I was more interested in the marriage than spending a ton of money on one day. It turned out to be great and a very friendly atmposhere rather than me having to pretend to know who everyone invited was and how I was related to them.
