Since everyone here makes the big bucks, I am betting some of you collect some pretty strange shit.

Mine is simple I collect everything Superman. I have statues, toys, old clothes, all kinds of things and of course the comics.

BTW... I am sure some of you want to post this, but LapDances and STDs don't count.

I collect art

I collect green peices of paper with faces and numbers on them.

I love my collection, so I don't keep it at my house. I visit the collection every now and then to add newly acquired pieces, and to admire the sheer volume of the collection.

Each piece of paper is from a different part of the country, ya know.

Once every year around April 15th, some asshole tries to steal it. He usually gets away with some.. but he never will know where I hide the good stuff.

One of the Lakers has a Superman tatoo on his (very large) arm.

I collect horror movie memorabilia...I lost most of my collection in the fire we had last year...
I had all the vinyl model kits of Freddy, Jason, Pinhead, Micheal Myers, Leather Face and Butterball (the fat cenobite)..I also had a test mold from Gremlins that I won in an auction at theFangoria Weekend Of Horrors seeral years ago....it killed me to lose all the stuff I collected...

I still have a few items though: the talking Freddy Kreuger doll, A Nightmare On Elm Street Boardgame and assorted autographed posters from horror movies....

I collect many things...

1) Comics - I mostly read/collect Harley Quinn, Batman Gotham Adventures & Futurama (it all depends on what the local grocery store stocks)I just finished the NightCrawler mini-series & picked up the first four X-Men: Evolution comics along with 3 issues of the new Punisher series. I'm so behind Green Arrow & JSA that I have no idea on what's going on with those.

2) Coins - especially the State quarters & old pennies (my oldest is from 1918 & I almost have a complete set from the 1940s)

3) Paperback books - I always hit up the local thrift shop for any fantasy, horror & SF books (every once in awhile I buy a book from the SF Book Club)

4) Homies - I've got 17 out of the 24 from series 3

5) Movie Novels - I got almost all the Batman & Star Trek movie novels. The local stores have been sucking in stocking some of the movies I wanted but I did get the new Spiderman movie novel.

6) Old-time radio programs especially the Shadow, Superman & Sherlock Holmes (I find what I can locally). I wore out my X-Minus One tape collection

7) I used to collect classic rock records from the sixties & the seventies but I was running out of space

8) I used to collect trading cards but I had no one to trade with that was collecting what I was collecting plus I ran out of space

9) As a kid, I used to collect (okay, play with) Hot Wheels, GI Joe, ColorForms & Little People (the Little People they have now just sucks)

Shaq Daddy is a huge Superman fan. He has, if I remember correctly, a Superman logo shaped pool. Has the logo on the rims of his cars and on the steering wheel. Also has full size video arcade games, ect. When you have as much money as he does you can have whatever you want.

I collect early pin-up girls by artists such as Elvgren, Frahm, Driben and others including early Girlie Mags like Beauty Parade, Eyeful, Titter, ect.., The Mags and pinups you could get long before Hefner started Playboy...

Oh oh! I forgot we have crates of Playboy, Penthouse, Club and I dunno how many others that he has stashed away. lol All from the 50's to the 80's. He bought a good many of them and I don't think looked at more than the centerfold with the hours he used to work. Mainly got them for their SOMEday values.

I used to collect Felix Potvin hockey cards. I like lacked 3. Stopped sometime 98 I think...
Damn I have some expensive cards.(they were at some time).
