went to the doctor today and he said

I got strep throat...gotta love that one huh?? Spent the last 4 days lying in bed except for today when I went BMW test driving for a few hours! ;)

loading up on antibiotics is no picnic here! anyone else got this stupid bug that's going around??

I hate seasonal weather changes!! I need to move somewhere warmer. :helpme :(

I'm sick as a dog too Odie. I blame this on Brad's outdoor wedding, lol. Just kidding Brad, in reality its a good time to get sick, before the winter season hits and not too close to any shows so I don't mind it. That and I like the idea of watching TV and sleeping all day.

I thought I had Dengue Fever this past week, but I went to get some exams done and turns out it was just some really long-lasting virus...

On the bright side, my blood tests revealed that I have a greatly above-average immune system...go vinegar!! :winkwink:

Oh and for sore throats, Gin / Hot water / honey helps it get better pretty quick...or after enough gin, you won't remember about it anyways :upsidedow

Lots fo people around here are starting to catch Dengue...but usually it's only where there are still water (like lakes) or where people leave buckets of water out for days and stuff....

Dengue fever is a prolonged, severe flu-like illness, which in certain forms can be fatal. Unlike yellow fever (caused by a related virus and spread by the same mosquito) there is no vaccine for dengue fever. The mosquitoes that carry dengue fever (Aedes aegypti) are also limited by temperature. Frost kills adult mosquitoes and larvae and is therefore an important limiting factor for spread. Consistent with predictions associated with warming in mountain regions, dengue fever is now being reported at higher elevations at 1240 meters in Central America and 1700 meters in Mexico. The mosquito vector has been reported at 2200 meters in the Colombian Andes. Dengue fever may also be moving south, as its presence in northern Argentina and Australia suggest. Dengue fever (DF) and dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) now occur regularly in Asia and throughout Latin America. But not to worry, there's no dengue on the beaches, nor where our show will take place :)
