What was your nickname as a kid?
 

My parents called me "Pete" -- I have no idea why. Its not my name or middle name. Only when I was in trouble, they'd call me by my full name, like it was one word "STEVENERIC!!!" -- ugh, still gives me shivers.

Had to do with something a fortune teller told her about me
while she was pregnant with me. The "King" part is story for another day

"Why? Is he ok?"
"Yeah."
"His wife ok?"
"Yeah."
"The kids ok?"
"Yeah."
"Well then why did he call?"
"I asked him that too."

"He said I just called to say I love you, Mom."

They both burst into tears.... I hated that commercial almost as much as that damn "Cats in the Cradle" song. Shoveling guilt on kids to sell product... damn them!

When I was little, my dad coached baseball and my brother was a first baseman.. I got dragged to all the games and tourneys all over the place. My brothers nickname was "Frog" cuz when he jumped up really high to catch the ball. his legs (he's 6"4") would do this funny frog looking thing..

I still get called that unfortunately :disgust

I used to be called cocain. I have pretty big eyes, and because I was on a young age already pretty good in table soccer and hang around with older guys, everyone thought I really used drugs lol.

when I was young I was dyslexic and wrote my letters backwards until
around the age of 7. So I always wrote my name as Mot instead of the
correct Tom. Needless to say my teachers were very frustrated and I was always redoing homework etc. Mot stuck as a nickname with my family
and still does to this day. :)

Football mates used to call me by my last name....

That evolved from Donny J. (I was a Jr.). I have no middle name.

When I was kid they used to call me Lightspeed.

Clarkie, Last name is Clarke so I suppose I should of seen that one coming.

they called me "balls". Cus I kicked a kid in the nuts during a play on stage at school

Bubby and Skinny. My brother was Radio because he never went off the air.

Hippy... I had long hair and was always a bit of a "free spirit" lol

I was high school swimming champion but even then a big boy...

Kids used to call me the "pale whale" .....













But that was from 50 yards away already running in the other direction.

Never had any nicknames til I was 13 when I was dubbed "JB" (for Jenny Baby) which evolved into Jabie. I later got nicknamed Crash, Sparky and Farty and of course Sweetie. Hell, I'll answer to damn near anything now.

Most the time I was called Half Pint! ahg :(

Chuchi for some reason as a little kid, then about 13 i got Diggy/Dig and that hung around until i lost touch with most of my high school friends in my mid twenties. bunch of others including Muttley - which is how I became 'Mutt' to people in this biz - when I first got on the Net i'd never been a computer guy, no bulletin boards, EVERYBODY had a nickname online it seemed, seemed very lame but when in Rome................ so i just typed in 'mutt' and that's been it for 7 years.

Spider... then it moved to Spider-Monkey and eventually it just became Monkey... which it still is today.

I was called Spider because my arms and legs were really long for my short little body. Monkey came in because I was always climbing on something. :winkwink:
