People are definitely spending more money on security this year than last.

More money this year, expenses the same.

:winkwink:

rickholio 08-10-2005 03:58 PM

I've been averaging a good 20% growth year on year since the late 90s. I think I'm going to plateau here pretty soon unless I can find new ways to expand... or if my top secret cloning experiments finally work. :thumbsup

Fortunately, my expenses have remained basically static during the period as well, but I know all too many people who aren't in that fortunate position and who're getting absolutely hammered by gas increases, stagnant wages and inflation. I always wryly suggest that adult could solve all thier ills, if they're willing to... SELL THEIR SOULS, MAUAHAHAHAHAHA! :bowdown :bowdown :bowdown :firehair

About the same... It's just easier now :)

High Plains Drifter 08-10-2005 05:19 PM

I sense some dishonesty in this thread, so I'd like to say that I'm making considerably less than a couple of years ago (still more than you), but now I have stock options and I'll be uber-rich ANY DAY NOW.

tristan_D 08-10-2005 05:34 PM

this year was not that easy for me but I'm making more than what I use to make last year.

more time, less money, a fucking bad combo, but hey, nothing is free in this life :1orglaugh

$5 submissions 08-10-2005 06:22 PM

more money (specially after switching to mainstream). But maybe the better question to ask would be... "Do you have more diverse revenue streams than last year"? My personal goal is to keep building new business streams. You just never know when streams will dry up. Diversification is a key asset.

reed_4 08-10-2005 07:07 PM

ofcourse i am expecting to earn a lot from this biz 'coz i am a newbie.

Spunky 08-10-2005 07:09 PM

Just because you suck doesn't mean the rest of us can't grow our business.

EviLGuY 08-10-2005 07:35 PM

:1orglaugh please, be honest with yourself. Even if you are making more this year in adult then you were last year do you really believe that the majority of people in this thread are increasing their income? I sense dishonesty and call it. Good luck sir, "the rest of us", the lot of you can continue to grow your businesses rampantly despite the downward trend of this business.
