Longest time you spent awake?
 

I think mine was 48 hs, maybe 50 or something else, with vitamins, lots of food and water. If you passed 48 hs. you surely noticed that at some point you can fall asleep on the floor, something that you should avoid.
I'm glad I have a 'normal' life now. :)

So, how about your record?

Driving from Seattle to Fort Lauderdale back in 2001. I drove the first 10 hours then slept -- then did the next 36 hours at once, no rest. Stopped in Daytona for rest then drove the last 3.5 hours the next day. Will never do that again.

50-60 hours +- Not sure actually

propably around 60 hours or so...
but most stressing was a drill in the army where I slept like an hour or 2 max each night for a week, long marches, we pretended it was war...and shit.. that was harsh.

72 hours on adderral, programming one of my first windows apps

about 50 hours, but php here :)

Drove 12hrs to indiana slept 2 then drove back to ny another 12 hours... that was fucking hell.

86.5 hours... writing code on a Timex Sinclair 1000... too afraid to go to bed for fear of losing everything I had in memory until I could get the program running and then find a way to save it to a lame cassette tape.

i think that would be something like 48 hours, and that was hard. never again. lol

72+ hours. I came from the army where I was being the guard for that nite and then went for a crazy weekend. :)

i would say 55 hours, at the end i was seeing double hahaha

i did 56 hours straight once in high school. we flew over to germany, and i am not able to sleep on plains at all, and as soon as we got there we started partying. it was a fun ass time.

Senior year of college. Finals.

I had been working full-time and was taking 21 credits that semester to graduate on time.

I don't remember exactly how long I was awake but I remember feeling sick from all of the caffiene.

Damm 50hours, aah never more then 30 or so

6hrs sleep in 7 days in the army.

about 3 days is my limit... then my muscles start spazing...

so far my record's 5 days...we were rushing our thesis and preparing for the finals:(

6 1/2 days insomnia rocks!

76 hours... a few years ago a batch of acid hit a small town, many didn't sleep for months... I was already up for awhile, then I took the acid and went into a Mortal Kombat Trilogy Tournament... there was 3 of us and it lasted 2 1/2 trips.

thats almost medically impossible

OMG you guys amaze me. the longest time I stayed awake was only 32 hours.

The day I finished highschool I've been awake for almost three days :)

I think it was about 39 hours for me

2 days straight.... this was to finish a presentation for our thesis.. during those moments my whole body feels like jello.. and after we have presented (we presented without taking a sleep).. i slept for like a full 12 hours.. heheheh.. i was tired my body felt like its gonna fall apart..

over 62 hours

Around 40 hours once...spent around 10 hours driving then 4 more hours on a ferry to an island here. Once we got to the island we had to look for a mechanic for a friend`s car that was giving us trouble. Then we had lots more things to do.
I do remember I didn`t drink any alcohol or drink coffee.And that while we were at the mechanic`s I kinda dozed off standing up for a few secs and nearly fell to the bottom of one of those wells they park the cars over.Now that I think of it ,driving was a very irresponsible thing to do.
That was hell,never again...I don`t mind admitting I need my sleep.

I can't do more than 20 hours tops
