                                                                                                                                                                                          People may be paid less in Europe but all prices are lower than in US.

                                                                                                                                                                                          Also Europeans have more pleasures in live than barbeque with the neighbour and shopping.

                                                                                                                                                                                              Yes i will agree that food and real estate, things are domestic to their respective country are a lot cheaper. But for anything that is imported, the price is usually lot more than that of the price in the U.S.
                                                                                                                                                                                              As for the relation ship between average income and average cost of living, it is pretty much the same as that of the U.S, but for the most part, prices are higher on what you import.
