Do you think Michael Jackson will walk?

I think he is guilty as sin..but he'll walk. I have very little faith in our judicial/jury system.

kernelpanic 05-27-2005 10:57 PM

He'll walk, because he has good lawyers, and because they have exposed enough holes in the prosecution's case.

He'll walk, won't even be close. Defense accurately painted the accuser's parents out to be $$$ extortionists. That doesn't mean the acts the prosecution are alleging didn't happen, but it does mean that the jury can't convict Jackson beyond a reasonable doubt.

They just didn't have enough hard evidence to make it a home run. It's ironically similar to the Kobe Bryant case, where the defense accurately painted the accuser as being a whore by demonstrating how she "bragged" to friends about her time with Kobe the very next day, and had been "involved" with a Denver Nugget NBA player previously.

In both cases, we'll never know what really happened, despite full court cases having been heard.

samsam 05-28-2005 01:33 AM

so why you guys act like he's guilty? you cant prove it either.

it requires evidence and it requires to be proven "beyond a reasonable doubt". michael jackson is inno-cent

Fizzgig 05-28-2005 01:47 AM

Michael Jackson should be locked up for his OWN protection. He's destroyed himself with cosmetic surgery and just keeps going.

Mr.Right - Banned For Life 05-28-2005 02:04 AM

He will walk, even if he is found guilty he wont go to Jail, he would kill himself before that.

Should be interesting to see how the Defense's strategy of having the Mom's dodginess rub off on the accuser will play out.

Corleone 05-28-2005 02:19 AM

I don't think he's guilty

they just want some $$$

Love Brokers 05-28-2005 02:20 AM

If they had video of MJ doing the deed, the jury wouldn't convict!

dalila 05-28-2005 04:28 AM

I don't think he's guilty
he's just very unlucky.

Dalai lama 05-28-2005 04:32 AM

He wont.

When you are rich and crazy you are just eccentric and not mentally ill. :2 cents:

The man has had his day in court. The system is set up to give the defendant the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. The system occasionally let's some fall through such as OJ(in the opinion of many). Other times they get nailed like Scott Peterson(pending appeal in a few years). If a jury of a dozen of your peers(as in fellow citizens... I doubt Michael Jackson really has any peers) do not believe you have been proven guilty beyond the shadow of a doubt you walk. It's not Michael Jackson's job to prove he is innocent. None of us are in the court room. None of us have the facts as presented by either side. Sure we have vague impressions and prejudices that we mold our opinion with from the glow of the evening news, but that's it.

geeksta 05-28-2005 04:37 AM

here's a man that you NEVER see or hear about with any adult partners of either sex, unless it was his 2 sham marriages.

he claims to love children, but only surrounds himself with little boys as close friends. where are all the little girls? more than that, what adult, no matter how much they like kids, his age builds an entire social circle strictly out of little boys??

I know, i know, all very circumstantial. still, it just doesn't make sense, a 45 year old with little boys sleeping in his bed all the time.

jackson may be a diaper swiper, but he's no dummy.

jackson must pick his marks pretty carefully, especially in this case, a single welfare scam artist mom and her out of control brats. this woman had miles of dirty deeds trailing behind her before she got into jackson's graces, i have no doubt he was fully aware of this woman and her ways. i'll bet some inappropriate things did happen with the boy, maybe not actual molestation, but perhaps activites and talk that were inappropriate. but i think this: this was a good target for a pedo, a family like this with a lot of dirt that they could be blackmailed with into staying quiet if certain things were occuring with the boy.

Sneddon was dumb for pursuing this one, he also knew about this woman and had to know that Jackson's team would take her and the boy apart. He was too quick on the trigger, and should have waited for another victim with a better chance that Jackson's lawyers wouldn't have as much dirt. The dirt they had on this woman was mind boggling. Then again, Jackson is smart, and perhaps he picks his little boys perfectly from these kinds of situations. I have no clue about the kind of situations and families the other boys he's paid off came from

just my 2 cents

I don't believe he's unlucky. He is a man who has made his own decisions. Bad ones imho, but they are his decisions to make. He is now feeling the consequences of those actions justly or not. He's made his own bed.

It is over. I really wish I could have watched this trial. I guess when the defense rested it blew everyone away.

I bet it was like, "the prosecution sucks, I am not even going to dignify it with an answer."

thaifan99 05-28-2005 04:46 AM

If the jury use the "benefit of the doubt" maxim............he will walk for sure.

He'll moon walk his way free!

AdultMovies.bz 05-28-2005 05:31 AM

Unless they get any actual evidence to put him away then its just bullshit ramble from a welfare scam-artist mother, and I seriously dont think thats enough to put anyone away no matter how guilty the media portrays them to be...
