Do weekends mean much to you anymore?
 

the only reason they are treated as anything special around here anymore is because that is when my friends with 'normal' jobs are around. As far as my life goes weekends could be pretty much any other day.

naww, not really. half of the time, i dont even know what day it is lol
however, last night i made plans (for tonight) to drive 2 hours north with my girl to go party.

i love partying in towns/cities that i dont live in hehehe ;)

I usually go to a club at least one night a week and it's usually friday or saturday. That always means taking the next day off and that's the only difference for me

I don't really have a 'weekend' anymore, I haven't since 2000 when I stopped working for other people, but I don't have 'weekdays' anymore either, I go out whenever I want.

i agree, its a time to hang out with my friends that have normal jobs. its also the best time to go to the bar. i usually try to only work 3-4 hours a day on the weekend.

hmm yep.. somewhat.. I still work but nothing like premier league, some friends over and beer.. that makes my weekend every weekend :)

About the only real difference between a weekend and a weekday for me these days is on the weekends I don't have to take relatives to appointments :upsidedow

Nope been working 7 days a week for a while now. Monday or Saturday doesnt make a diffrence for me. :thumbsup

Sunday television is the pits, the mail doesn't come, and the kids stay home from school. So yes, I'd say it's a bit different for us. :)

I only have vacation on sunday, because my G/F isnt working ! :thumbsup

It actually depends, some weekends are great you hang with your friends and whatnot, in others you got shit to do so if you worked you would be actually doing something worthwhile :)

that is the big difference, i crave for the weekend knowing those who work a 9-5 will be around and i wont be bored ass.

but basically it is just like any other day, when you work from home every day is just another day.

Actually, I recently made the decision to "get my weekends back" .. of course, the person I'm trying to get them back from is myself .. and it's not turning out to be an easy task .. too easy to "just take a few minutes to get this out of the way ..." and before you know it .. it's Monday ..

But I am getting better at reacquiring my private time .. baby steps .. baby steps ..

but Saturdays I generally spend with my kids...but after they go to bed, I still manage to do some work (I don't work on adult stuff when they are home/awake)...
