Holy crap that's a lot. most I ever payed was 320 and it was in a house that I was renting with no insulation.

yes to heat and have everything else on electricity gets expensive. Oil is a litte cheaper I think, but if you add both your electricity and oil bills during winter months, specially Canadian winters it gets expensive :)

for the office its included in the rent , the new house I think is going to be more expensive. At the loft winter electric bills were 60 bucks and that was running 4 computers , washer ,dryer, all electric house. The new townhouse is was 100 for not even a full month.
