I dont think i will ever retire....this has become a hobbie...even as i go to the office and all my staff do everything, i just decided to turn my work into a hobbie...

Yeah lately I havent been doing much really.. just hanging out with my new girlfriend, doing various drugs and answering emails. im getting motivated though and will be doing big things very soon.

I couldnt see anything more boring than retiring at a young age. You will have to wait around all day for your friends to come back from work and would just end up watching day time tv for the rest of your life.

Retire and do what? Watch TV like a moron all day long? Play golf with half dead people? Go shopping everyday? Fly around on airplanes to different cities like a rich vagabond?

Working is fun if you have lots of deals and businesses to play with all day long.

Fuck retirement, when I go down, my head will be hitting my desk like my father's did.

Yeah indeed, i cannot imagine not doing anything...
My connection was acting up the last few days, couldnt do anything, it drove me nuts...i was so bored all day long.

yes, traveling the entire world for years on end, finishing a university degree in something you have no worries about making a career out of, and pursuing activities you previous had no time for, sounds boring as hell.

Actually, I just post here because I'm a huge sigwhore.

here's a few off the top of my head:

- travel the world
- hike all the best mountains
- snowboard/ski all the best mountains
- climb very difficult mountains
- do several university degrees beyond your first one (if you have one to begin with)
- spend more time reading
- sail across the pacific
- help other people

much more interesting imo, than running a business lol.

Regardless of my age I don't see myself retiring ever.
I can imagine working less when i'm way older but apart from that I will retire when I'm dead.

As for myself... I could imagine doing most of those things (just travel the world, spend more time reading, snowboard/ski all the best mountains, ...) for some time (whether its months or years) but then I think I'd need to get back into some kind of business.

i understand. but i think i could take those few things i just listed (in all of 1 minute) and never have to run a business again for the rest of my life.

word....there's simply to much to accomplish and explore out there in so many different fields of interest that a lifetime is simply not enough time. Being able to do all that and explore new interests and opportunities is my retirement. So i guess technically, i'm already retired.

I have a dream of going to live on a garbage dump in Cambodia for a month.

Boiling down to business accomplishments? lol...not all all. I think you misunderstood me or i didn't quite express it correctly. Accomplishments such as, finishing up my book, surfing the African coast (j-bay in particular) and/or yes....running another business or two in the process. Things i wish to accomplish and do in my lifetime basically.

I'd love to retire, but I'd get bored. My idea of retirement is to have my business run by itself and I teach History or Constitutional law/history at the nearest community college for free. That would be awesome.

yes, but would you do all of that just alone? i dont mean univertisty, i mean travelling, sailing, mountains etc.... doing that with friends would be much better but how about when your friends dont have the time for that because they have to work ( or you dont have any friends )
