2005 M6 Lives!
 

BMW has just released hteir 2005 M6. "Astounding" is really the only word you can use to describe the preformance but into this beautiful machine. With a monterous V10 pushing 507 BHP @ 7750 RPM and 383 lb-ft @ 6100 RPM of torque under the hood, this thing can fly!

Bmw describes the success principle in a few words. "True power in a discreet package." And I think they have achieved that and a little more.

I live in the part of germany where it is not allowed to buy a car from the bavarians. Its a soccer problem.

The M6 that is. While the SL65 is a beast, it's also a bit boring to look at IMHO. But the BMW is just fantastic!

have to go with the sl 65 on this one.

Finally, a M series BMW that looks like something my kid brother wouldn't be found in.

BMW lost it years back. They were the "status" symbol. Having a BMW said "you've arrived". Then they mass produced their cars until they looked the same.

Seems like BMW is back on track with their most recent cars. They are looking sharp.

That one is actually tested 0-100kph (0-62mph) in 3.7 secs by Auto Motor und Sport and has a top speed of 338kph when the limiter is removed. So 0-60 should be done in 3.5

Also, this thing is 2x times the price of the M6.

I think it's sweet. What I've read about the new BMWs though is that they are starting to hand over too many duties to computers, isolating the driver from the full experience of driving.
