I work two or three hours per day, I then spend my money or play my PS2 the rest of the day. Life is good :)

No names mentioned, but I have personally (very personally ;)) known the owner of one of the largest and most successful programs in this industry. I was there when the company was created. This individual might work a whole two hours a day, and makes way more than 300k a year.

Of course, this person is professional enough that he/she would never brag on a public forum or elsewhere about their income.

I'm working 14 hours a day, and will probably only make $30K for myself in 2005 (even less!:)), but I'm counting on $300K a year for years to come with what we've developed.

kind of dumb to only work two hours a week

I say work smarter not harder but I still work 20 hours a day and with what i've learned over the years if I was to accomplish what I do now just a year ago it would take me like 50 hours a day...

i work pretty much every day unless im on vacation. some days i work 6-8 hours, and other days when i want to go out with friend or do something i only work 1-2 hours. i dont let work get in my way of having fun.

I wish I could say that, but I'm in front of this computer for more than 9 hours at a time.

But it's like someone else said: I'd rather be broke and HAPPY than rich and not. But somehow I don't think I'd be very unhappy if I had a lot of money. :glugglug

One thing my father always told me, was when the getting is good, MILK it for all you can. Don't sit around waisting money thinking its never going to end, cause on things for sure.. it WILL end. So when you have the opportunity, take it for everything its worth that way when things may change in the future, you have took it for all you could and you have as much money as possible to do something new. :2 cents:
