I don't think it was...education nowadays is traditional rather than gaining knowledge...some youth today have only one thing in mind...to get a diploma...a piece of paper that any computer artist/programmer can produce...I do believe that I'm only using like 10-20% of what I've learned from college in my job...not all are taught in school...most of us sharpen our skills from experience(self-study) rather than from formal education...:)
