Stop listening to Fox news and make up your own word for John Kerry.

Here's mine. "better"

Who wants to vote for the better choice John Kerry?

I think that anyone is better than Bush. I'd even vote for Spacedog over Bush.

My philosophy is this. Bush was in office for almost 4 years now and what did he do, he raised our deficit drastically, got us in a war, raised the poverty level in the US, just to name a couple of things. Sure, he did cut some taxes, but he also increased our deficit which is gonna come back around and bite us in the ass years down the line.

He had his 4 years in office and didn't do anything productive, so I don't see why anyone would want to vote him in for another 4 years.

this thread isn't about the yahoo Bush. It's about the thong wearing, flip-flop John Kerry:2 cents:

I support Kerry over Bush because I have read beyond the soundbites.

Who cares , I only hope in my sixties I am in good enough shape to wind surf. You have to get thru your head Bush is far from the common man. He is not one of the boys ,thats a character he portrays.

I would support Kerry if he know what he supported himself.

He "flip-flops" a lot:2 cents:

He "flip-flops" a lot:2 cents:

If you read past the Republican propoganda you will see that many of his "flip-flops" are due to changing conditions. Like he voted for the 87 billion dollars until they changed it to not repeal tax breaks for the wealthiest to pay for it and he didn't support that. George Bush has done his share of flip-flopping but people who excuse pill-popping Republican DJs who want others to go to jail for the same don't see any problem with that either:glugglug

dennisthemenace 09-27-2004 09:10 AM

Flip flops :1orglaugh

Only thing I can think of when I hear that is those sandles that slap the bottom of the feet when walking.

(see right side of sig to get out of this left versus right nonsense)

Tom_PMs 09-27-2004 09:14 AM

I'd rather have a flip-flop than a clog.

Lykos 09-27-2004 09:18 AM

Politic sux :2 cents:

Mojiteaux 09-27-2004 09:19 AM

I would rather see a president who can realise he was wrong and adapt than one who will "stay the course" no matter how ridiculous and destructive that course happens to be. So what if he voted for the war? That was the wrong decision then and is still the wrong decision now. But it was based on the wrong intelligence provided and sexed up by the Bush administration...
At least one of the two major candidates acknowledges that it was the wrong decision. They other one has lost track with reality. Probably Bush is on coke again

Someone say flip flop?

# Bush is against campaign finance reform; then he's for it.
# Bush is against a Homeland Security Department; then he's for it.
# Bush is against a 9/11 commission; then he's for it.
# Bush is against an Iraq WMD investigation; then he's for it.
# Bush is against nation building; then he's for it.
# Bush is against deficits; then he's for them.
# Bush is for free trade; then he's for tariffs on steel; then he's against them again.
# Bush is against the U.S. taking a role in the Israeli Palestinian conflict; then he pushes for a "road map" and a Palestinian State.
# Bush is for states right to decide on gay marriage, then he is for changing the constitution.
# Bush first says he'll provide money for first responders (fire, police, emergency), then he doesn't.
# Bush first says that 'help is on the way' to the military ... then he cuts benefits
# Bush-"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. Bush-"I don't know where he is. I have no idea and I really don't care.
# Bush claims to be in favor of the environment and then secretly starts drilling on Padre Island.
# Bush talks about helping education and increases mandates while cutting funding.
# Bush first says the U.S. won't negotiate with North Korea. Now he will
# Bush goes to Bob Jones University. Then say's he shouldn't have.
# Bush said he would demand a U.N. Security Council vote on whether to sanction military action against Iraq. Later Bush announced he would not call for a vote
# Bush said the "mission accomplished" banner was put up by the sailors. Bush later admits it was his advance team.
# Bush was for fingerprinting and photographing Mexicans who enter the US. Bush after meeting with Pres. Fox, he's against it.

psili 09-27-2004 10:35 AM

I dislike Bush more than I dislike Kerry. Does that make me a Kerry supporter then ? I guess so, since by that logic I'm going to vote for Kerry because he holds the least amount of my dislike.

Pornkings 09-27-2004 10:39 AM

Yes I like it as well.

One of the reasons I would vote for him is that when he sees new evidence he changes his mind about what he thought was right. Much like the public does when they see the factsd.

Where as Bush keeps on going even when the evidence shows him to be wrong.

Being resolute is only good when you are right, when you are wrong it's called blind stupidity.

Now all flame me and tell me where the WMDs are and how Iraq was in league with Bin Laden, Al Queda and about to attack the US.

I've come to the conclusion that anyone supporting Bush is doing it solely for the money benefits, so anything you have to say is blinded by the dollars.

I do. Simple. Bush wants me out of business and in jail. Kerry couldn't care less what I do for a living.
