Testdriving an Impreza next week
 

Already did testdrive an MG ZS 180. I liked it very much. However I want to try some other cars as well.


Next week, I will drive an Impreza, curious how it will ride/feel etc

Nice but theyre a bit ugly though, id go for the m3, maybe a few year old version.

Depends on wether it was your fault or not probably

They are insured, by insurance companies. They pay big bucks on them

You cant go wrong with AWD and 300hp

Even if it's your fault. The insurance compnay will handle it.

You will notice a small threshhold problem which you can take care of by going to a good front mount intercooler. If this is your first 4wd performance vehicle test drive, you will notice there is a little thunking sound if you are shifting hard at redline. This is just normal drivetrain noise you will get with good tires.

Well here in the nertherlands you get green plates(normal ones are yellow)

This means it's insured all risk at the dealer. SO when I crash it, the dealer gets money from the insurance.(and I don't have to pay anything)

rented one in Paris, didn't put it to run, of course, but nice and smooth drive

they are all in the same price tange as subaru i think

btw picked up my new Golf IV 1.8 20V turbo (193hp) yesterday :D

I bought my 350Z for 50k euro a few months ago, that's around 62k$. Seems like an impreza is only 30k euro here so they're definitely not in the same price range.

I am also pretty sure Andre is looking for a 2nd hand one

The car isn't the best looking car but driving side, you cannot go wrong . It really sticks to the road and can take tight curves very easily at a good speed

prices on cars in europe are too high :(

so mazda rx 8 will be nice choice
becuase it has 1.3-liter RENESIS 2-rotor rotary engine
with 238 horsepower in it

The RX8 is 67,407.9 USD here :-(((((

So not really much other cars I can choose (HP wise) I can choose for the IMPREZA price...

Evo 7's are still that expensive there?, with the release of the Evo 8 they dropped significantly here.

I was talking about a new 8 :-)

A version 6 costs here 2nd hand 36,767.9 USD

man, thats insane. A new Mazda RX8 starts at $36k here. BMW 5 at $40k. And when you buy the car for a company, you save 20% of the cars price on taxes, so thats:
RX8 - $29k
BMW 5 - $32k
