I decided to keep him and I called him Ivan!!!

Well I am going to keep him. He is an old guy so he doesn't have too long to live. Maybe 6 months to a year, if he has vitamins and a great diet, which he has the best. He has perked up a lot and his skin is getting healthy again. I haven't taken him to a Vet yet because the Vet was out all last week. But a guy who works there, who raises Bearded Dragons, said that Ivan is an old guy and he appears to have been neglected big time. So his last year on earth will be filled with crickets every morning to chase, soft sand on his feet, and the sun waking him up every morning, which he loves. Every morning I wake up he is standing straight up with his head high absorbing the sun. He is a happy guy and his name is Ivan!!!

Ivan's new home!!!

Yeah that cat scares me. I hope theres a screen on the tank. lol
Nice set up you have there. By the sound of his condition I wouldnt be surprised if your neighbor let him go.

Do you have a heated rock in there..? or is that a heat light?

That's mighty white of you. ;) I'm considering to use my aquarium as a terrarium, by the way. I don't have much faith in the legalities of obtaining reptiles in my country, but my second choice is a large tarantula or possibly a couple of scorpions.

NakedBo 09-17-2004 10:41 AM

Very cool that you are taking him in like that!! :thumbsup

No heated rock. I heard they are no good. Every site I researched said they are cruel and I can see why!!!

He has a heat lamp that I don't have to turn on that much. I am going to get a better one. That was the one I used when he is was in the big box.

He has the natural sun that hits a part of his tank all day and of course he has a plenty of shade. He loves the sun. After I have gone to bed the light goes off and he bury's himself in the sand. But the red heat light is there for the evening, if he wants it.

Loryn, you rock.

We rescued a 6 week feral kitty which was blown into the canal after Hurricane Charley passed over us. Heard this meow cry that was very distressed. The tide was coming in....had we not heard this kitten and fished her out of the water, she would have drowned.

She is now living the good life with me :-))

Ain't we the softies when it comes to creatures :-))

AWW thank you baby!!! I would have never went out a got an animal like this. So since he fell into my lap I decided to enjoy him. Experience something new and different. He is great!!!

AaronM 09-17-2004 11:27 AM

1 Egg
1 large banana
1 bearded dragon
2 cups of ice

Blend.

pornguy 09-17-2004 11:30 AM

He is not that old. He just needs some lotion on his skin.

Once he is nice and soft, and some of the wrinkles are gone, then you can make boots or a belt.

WiredGuy 09-17-2004 11:30 AM

That's mighty nice of your Loryn, always taking care of those in need. I know he'll be happy in his new home :)

I don't know where his dong is, but he is a boy. :1orglaugh

If there are two bumps under the tale it's a girl. If there is one bump it's a boy. He is definitely a boy!!! :thumbsup
