Just wondering. I make no judgements. i'd just like to get a sense of what people in this biz tend to believe.

I was baptised Catholic and spent my first 9 years of schooling in Catholic schools.

The main thing I learned while there:

Religion is evil.

Born and raised Catholic...turned into a fence sitter. That means that I really don't agree with the organization of my religion...many times doubt the existance of God, yet at the same time something tells me not to discount the presence of a higher being because sometimes things happen that make you wonder.

I wish you people would stop equating 'belief in a higher power' with the concept of stupidity. Most of you don't believe in God for the same types of reasons you attribute to those who do have faith. You say Christians NEED to believe in God because they are afraid to accept that death is the end of life. I say that you NEED to think that God doesn't exist because you are afraid that the end of life is Hell. By claiming that I and others who admit to having a belief in a higher power are stupid, you are falsely making yourselves feel more secure in your dangerous delusions.
