No it's called a cold call. It's not illegal to contact a site using the contact form or email address on their website. If you don't want to be contacted then don't put a contact method on your site.

So contacting someone by using their "contact" button on their site is spam? Maybe you aren't too clear on the definition yourself.

It's common sense if you don't want to be contacted, don't put a contact button on your site.

Hustler
Ccbill
Content Providers

and you know what I do? If Im not interestd I hit the delete button.

Now if they are spamming me viagra or mouse pads thats a different story.

They are talking about then people harvest hotmail emails or harvest emails from the internet.
