Libs here, just got back. I don't like them much but I'm fucking holding my breath that Harper doesn't get elected.

Liberal (still have to go vote though) & not because I trust Paul Martin - as I had more faith with Chretien & his in your face attitude about awarding contracts. Martin framed Gagliano for being Chretien's supporter & cleaned his cabinet of any Chretien supporters. However, Harper seems to be a Bush photocopy & I want none of that + they've been spamming the shit out of me in the past 5 days.

Ya, I know, conservatives get elected we are going to war, abortion will be banned, health care will be scrapped, conscription will be brough back to Quebec and i hear they might dig up Louie Riel and hang him again.

Just remember, Liberals were the party who interned the Japanese during WWII. They did it once, they can do it again. A vote for the conservatives is a vote against locking up Japanese people.

If the conservatives come into power we're also going to loose Quebec. A lot of people don't realize what Chretien did to keep them a part of Canada, and no it wasn't just the sponsorship embezzlement.

Gotta respect Chretien, everyone thought he was pissed because Martin forced him out early. Turns out he stepped out after making one of his most popular decisions ever, telling Bush to GFY on Iraq, and right before the scandal exploded.

Now there's an amazing politician.

I agree, he did win the quebec referendum. But, how much more money do we have to spend to keep Quebec, and more importantly, why should the rest of canada have to keep paying off quebec? Will we have a new "keep quebec happy" tax coming soon? At some point it has to stop.

I am voting for the communist party of canada, I only disagree with a few of their beliefs but they seem to be the right choice because you atleast know they mean what they say...

I voted for the Liberals.

I think Harper is a lunatic who wants to scrap public health care which is an essential service that should be expected of any modern government. Canada needs to be liberal to keep its identity, if you want a right wing government that pillages sovereign nations with your tax dollars you can just move the US, it's not that hard.

This isn't really a fair poll, you left out the Marijuana Party, the Christian Heritage Party, the Communist Party, the Libertarian Party, the Marxist-Leninist Party, the Progressive Canadian Party, and my personal favorite fringe party, the Action Party of Canada. :)

No Marxist-Leninist or Progressive candidates on my ballot, but I think all other parties were represented here.

Almost forgot it was election day, too busy doing yard work and painting my deck.
I was going to vote green, but since I live in Paul Martin's ridding, might as well cast a vote for the liberals, I would hate to see the bible thumpers in power.
