$12,000 for a load of shit

If you had spent $12,000 on affiliate software that has major bugs, and was told that if you tell anyone about it the software company will take legal action against you, what would you do?

Would you?
A/ Think they were a great company, say nothing and be happy you paid $12,000 for a load of shit.

B/ Give all the details so other webmasters don't get taken for the same ride.

They have,
Request payment for software be wired to personal offshore bank account and not the company.

Ignored support issues for over 12 months.

Seeded database suddenly gets spammed (they had full access to database)

Told to change access codes due to dismissal of a member of staff that had access to all your login details.

Ignored your request for an address at which they can be contacted.

BigVlad 06-14-2004 06:17 AM

I have not known of your full problem, tho i do know that all problems can be broken down into elements. And by using the four (4) W's And the H. you can over come each element.

Wish you all the best on your business.'

12K for a software that's full of shit... Maybe you should've checked a few boards BEFORE buying it.

WiredGuy 06-14-2004 07:19 AM

Nice sig.

taboo_gal 06-14-2004 07:19 AM

Click Sig.

We are US based...totally legit..and would be happy to custom tailor a solution to fit your needs for MUCH LESS than $12000 with much more support.

BTW...IMO...if a company can't even respond to support requests, I highly doubt they'd take legal action against you. Perhaps you shold be the one taking legal action against them. Thats is a huge chunk of change to have the issues you are having.

Best!

$12,000 for affiliate software and you are not having the problems resolved, plus having threats made against you?

Sounds to me like the company has something to hide.

My crew has coded a number of affiliate solutions for far less than the amount that you have paid and we stand by our products 100% to our customers.

Its a shame this happend to you, hopefully there is some recourse that you can take to recover your funds or have the provider do right by you.

kak_azn 06-14-2004 07:32 AM

Thanks taboo_gal, we purchased Monolith after the company in question pulled the server (I should add they are hosting company also.....this line should have the words bad and shit added somewhere) and put us out of business.

Triple 6 06-14-2004 08:36 AM

so wtf, post the company....

Jace 06-14-2004 08:39 AM

I promoted a solid program that was using the MPA software. Anyways, after about 3 weeks worth of sending traffic, i said fuck it and I will NEVER use a sponsor that uses their software?

Why? - I was converting 1:3000, but before when I was sending traffic through Epoch itself, I was converting 1:500 - Go figure.

The site was good, the content was good, I know I was sending sales, and they just weren't being tracked/recorded properly. Now I say fuck it - and I'm glad you are making a campaign against them.

BTW, I've had the privilege to beta test Monolith, and its pretty decent, it definitely tracks sales as it should, and thats all I can ask.

~Ray 06-14-2004 02:32 PM

icq me the details and I'll post them here. I'll dare them to come after me.

Contact ICANN, that whois info is not correct.

There is no Nevada, Nv.

89703 is Carson City

Makes you think twice about using companies who use bogus whois info... makes you wonder what they have to hide.

Hi TurboTrucker, $150 or $12,000 is not the real problem, its the fact it screwed our business which is worth more to us than $12,000.

Thanks - will never use them or any program that has their script installed.

Totally unprofesional.
