Should GFY be moderated?
 

What if a moderator would remove business threads from the "Fucking Around" forum and put them in the "Webmaster" forum? Would that help you to find entertainment when you're looking for it, and information when you're in the mood for it?

its definately a good idea would make things a little easier to find on here some of the threads you want to read get bumped down way to quick

maybe have someone take the business related threads and add them to a special section but keep them in the fucking around as well.

I could see a lot of people calling for this kind of thing if the search function isnt going to be reinstated, or continues to break. However, for now, its nice to get a balance of business/drama and fun all in one forum (my :2 cents: )

I agree Elli the tone has changed since I first started posting on here. Its becoming like a big surfer yahoo group with nudie pics, its sad. I think its great Lens give people lots of rope . I think there should be a just business forum and it costs $5-$10 a month to be a member. Serious people wouldnt have a problem with that and it can be a place for serious talk about business and things that affect our business. Without these type of threads :

I was talking with someone at Webmaster Access ,I would bet 60-70% of the people on this board are surfers not in the business.

I think having the "Webmaster Q & Fuckin' A" forum is a waste of good posts... most people visit this forum because it's the top link... it gets more traffic, just like at every other board...

Whenever I have a question I ask it here... and I always get a quick answer...

IMO they should be merged together... bringing more business posts in the main forum...

I dont agree, this board is harsh and why would people want to hang out ...for the atomosphere? I have seen people get blasted...I stayed because I understand the game, and how important GFY is to the game, plus we are in this deal for the long haul.

Shit evolves and changes, I am so down with that, i come to GFY for fun, and if I need something I post it. If not I go else where to get what I need. As a business model, you cant dispute Lensmans numbers and eye balls to this board. If it is about making money and keeping something as real as you can for as long as you can...GFY has and is doing a great job!

no way, that would make GFY like every other adult webmaster board out there. GFY is the biggest and most visited adult webmaster board for a reason. Whatever they're doing, they're doing it right.

I have said it before I will say it agina. Make GFY survivor style... when 50 percent vote you off the board you are gone (ie in the form of a button by your name)
