Sometimes in life you are backed into a corner and forced to make a decision. How do you handle these times?

Most people crumble.......I am NOT most people.

Only the strong survive.

This game is far from over....The future is clear.

I know what to do...But again I ask....How do you handle these times?

I'll tell you how not to hadle "these items"

Happened to me more then once. Think of number 1 and just do it.

gotta figure everything will work out no matter which way you go, so make the decision your most comfortable making and go for it

Comfortable decisions are what keep people held back.

Sometime you need to accept the risks and stack them up against the rewards of the uncomfortable decisions then proceed with cautious aggression.

I take a day or three off then come back and start thumping people up along side the head either figuratively or factually.

cautious aggression is a good way to put it ...

If you are a naturally agressive person, then you will feel comfortable making the aggressive decisions. I think you have to be that type of person, if your not, and try to become an aggressive person, you will end up making bad decisions just for the fact that you are trying to be aggressive.

Like I said....

I've been in similar situations many times. Yet, I'm still here.

I don't take kindly to being backed into corners, I usually strike out if put in the position . . . although it has been quite a while since this has happened to me

I'm not a victem, and way too ambitious & smart to roll over & get a real job.

There is always a way out of a corner even though at times it seems like you have no choices. Somehow things always work out if you remain strong. Good times are usually just the momentary lull you experience between each crisis in life

I can deal with conflict as long as there's room for compromise. Someone backs me into a corner though and my gut reaction is to push my way out of it -- and when that happens there's no room for compromise on my end anymore.

What you're gut tells you is always right. Follow that.

I went through a divorce, probably the hardest time in my life to date.
I called my mom on one of my worst nights and she told me....

God will not give you more than you can handle in one day.

I hold that saying close, when times are tough.

You handle these times by making a decision and sticking with it. I was recently faced with something similar. Made my decision to give up my former company.
I am now better off for it and my former company is fucked without me.

The only thing you can do, remain focussed, positive and think laterally. There is always a solution, you just have faith in yourself to resolve it. Never, ever give up.

When you know what's right, don't bother asking for opinions. For those who give opinion will either confuse you by distorting the facts or they'll provoke you to view the story from an obstructed point of you. Whom do you trust? Trust no one but thyself. Why look through another man's eyes when yours are in focus?

You are AaronM. You are never wrong. But give comfort to yourself in knowing that when a door shuts, it gives oppourity for another door to open.
