Who all is spending some time in LA before going to San Deigo for cybernet expo
 

I am - at least 2-3 nights in LA. i know too many people there and i wana hang out with them before the san deigo show.

driving to san deigo from LA - gona see some of the countryside or at least some of the freeway lol

My sister's cast comes off...family is in town because my niece's graduation is on the 7th...if I can talk my father into staying through the weekend and help out with my sis etc..I may pop down there for a night.

It is less then $75 / person with all you can drink and they have a DJ with music. It is a lot of fun. We could also rent a whole ship out by the hour. It is about 3K for 4 hours on a weekend.

what are you talking about? there is no traffic between LA and SD unless you go right at rush hour, and even then just for a while

That's what I was thinking. That drive is a snap...Never had any problems with it especialy if you take the toll freway.

I too will be in LA before SD. I arrive on the 4th =)

We're visiting family in San Francisco right now and will be driving down to San Diego as well. Figured it was a chance to see some sights. Gonna stay one night in LA on the way down.

The couple of minutes between San Clemente and OceanSide will have the nicest views.

For those visiting LA first and driving down, I would recommend taking your time and drive the old PCH 101, which runs parallel to the ocean. Beautiful ocean views, presuming the weather doesn't take the June Gloom turn.

Stay off the 5 as much as you can.
